Fruitables Pumpkin and Apple Dog Treat, 1.4-Ounce Bag
"Auntie" sent the apple/pumpkin flavor. 6 small, resealable bags in a box. There are approx. 25 crunchy treats in each bag and they are small enough to use as a training treat. Low calorie too. Each treat is approximately the size of a nickle, with a scalloped outside edge and maybe 1/4" thick. I don't know what the dogs taste, but I could distinguish the apple and pumpkin quite well.
The first treat was given yesterday after coming in from playing in the first (ridiculous) snow storm of the season. The dogs are all Greyhounds, so they have to come inside, wait until I wipe their feet, remove their coats, smooth their fur to eliminate the static from the coat-wearing and give them the 'ok' to tramp through the house.
Rather than the 'ok', I gave the signal to sit and wait for a treat. Each dog, not having had these particular treats ever before, took the treat gingerly with their front teeth and just waited...and waited, until all 6 had theirs. They were given the 'ok' to eat them and BAM! all my training went out the window. I had flashbacks of feeding geese at the park and being trampled by webbed feet so the geese could get the bag of bread in my hands. My dogs were so giddy with anticipation of another one of these new treats, I didn't know whether to thank their "Auntie" or scold her!
Anyway, "Thank you, Auntie" from the kids. They all love these treats and I'm here checking them out so I know what to expect when the current supply runs low. I'll definitely be purchasing these for my dogs in the future.

My dogs LOVE these treats and even I think they smell enticing. I am very selective of what goes into my dogs and these get the checkmark of approval!Read Best Reviews of Fruitables Pumpkin and Apple Dog Treat, 1.4-Ounce Bag Here
My two dogs (both Bichons) absolutely LOVE these treats (every flavor). They simply go wild when I get near the packet of treats. I highly recommend this product! All this excitement and healthy, too!Want Fruitables Pumpkin and Apple Dog Treat, 1.4-Ounce Bag Discount?
As I wrote in my review of Fruitables All-Natural Pumpkin & Banana Dog Treat, 1.14oz pouch (Pack of 6), my shepherd-chow mutt likes both flavors, but they aren't her favorite. She doesn't seem to prefer one flavor over the other, and she doesn't go bananas for them like she does for Pro-Treat Beef Liver, Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 21 Ounce or Dogswell Happy Hips for Dogs, Chicken Breast,15-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3).These treats are healthy, natural, and low calorie (important for an older, ahem, "big boned" dog). They even smell great, like people food. I'll probably buy more in the future to alternate with her meaty treats, but I'll buy the larger bags. I wouldn't have bought treats packaged this way if they hadn't been on sale. It's a waste of packaging.

Carlson Extra Tall Metal Expandable Pet Gate
Great buy! I highly recommend it!!

I was very happy with this (though I should have gotten a walk-through for my purposes). However, today I watched my almost 40 lb dog crawl through the cat door. I don't feel like a stout dog, whose head is even with the top of an extra-tall gate, should fit through a "small pet" door. If your dog is over 60 lbs I'm sure you're safe.Read Best Reviews of Carlson Extra Tall Metal Expandable Pet Gate Here
I would highly recommend this product especially if you have a dog that likes to jump. My chihuahua mix was able to climb over the shorter version of this gate so I had to try something else. So easy to use. Will recommend to pet owners. Not necessary to dismantle to remove. Stores easily. Dog does not try chew or knock down.Tuesday, June 18, 2013
Potty Patch - As Seen on TV, Small, Color:Green
We are back to the "pee pads" and the two Potty Patchs are back in their boxes.
RegardsI was really hoping this would work with my 2.5-3 month old miniature schnauzer. The one pro that I found was that my puppy would consistently go on the potty patch and treated it like it was the grass. However the engineering of it is BEYOND terrible. I would like to think that most people know that puppies chew and bite and pull on things. If you are using this to train your puppy and can watch him/her at all times, it could probably work well. But if you are leaving her alone with the potty patch, it could potentially become a big terrible mess, like it did for me for the 2 weeks I tried it. My puppy pulled all three parts apart from each other because they were so easy to separate. The 2 top pieces seem to just sit and wiggle on the plastic bottom. I even tried creating little holes in the parts to tie them together. I also tried buying industrial strength velcro to attach the parts together and to the floor as well. My puppy easily chewed through the artificial grass each day when I returned home from work, she had chewed off another square inch of grass with the grass all over the room. The three pieces were scattered and the grass was flipped over. Inevitably it was poop and pee everywhere as well.
If anything I hope the makers of Potty Patch think of a way to use better materials and find a way to keep the 3 parts removably attached to each other. Another very important note: this is NON returnable/refundable.

I bought this to help my aging dalmation while we were at work. Although she has NEVER been one to chew things, the "grass" was lose (some even fell out during assembly). The potty patch spent its last night in our house about 2 weeks later when I came home to find my dog gagging and handfuls of "grass" strewn about. Fearing she was choking, I grabbed the leash and keys to get her to the emergency vet when I saw that the "grass" was actually wound around her teeth. Her gums were irritated for days. If you love your dog, explore every option (or none at all for that matter). The potty patch is both dangerous and cheap. I've learned my lesson.Read Best Reviews of Potty Patch - As Seen on TV, Small, Color:Green Here
We bought this, excited our schnoodle and shih tzu would have a place to potty other than on our kitchen floor while we're gone. So far the parts all slide apart too easily, and the only use the Shih Tzu has made of it is to use it for a nap pad. We've tried putting a pile of their poop on it and rubbing the top of it in a pee puddle of theirs, but they ignore it.

I should have known better....not worth the money. I could have boughten a piece of grass carpet and put it on a boot tray!My dog is afraid of it because it moves all over the tray and makes noises. Maybe it would be OK for a puppy that you are just house breaking, but not a dog that is trained or used to something else.
