This is a great product! Our 5 month old Golden Retriever is a totally different pup when on walks using the Gentle Leader. He responds easily and well to commands and has no problem with it even when playing at the park. Simply take off the leash and he romps with all the other dogs.

My pup is a really determined dog. I began using this when a dog trainer personally fitted it to her and it really did work excellent. In fact to this day, she has walked her best on the gentle lead head collar. The only problem I had was that once in a while, not often, she would pull. After awhile I noticed it was starting to wear on her nosal, leaving a patch of no fur and a sore beginning to form. I felt so aweful and quit using it that day. I have had the gentle lead harness since then and although it isn't as effective, I was able to have a bit more control than just using a collar. But now I think that one is starting to hurt her under her front legs. So now I am in search of something else. My dog really does great on walks, it is just when other dogs get close and she wants to greet them. I have a Border Collie/hound-of-some-kind mix and a Treeing Walker Coonhound who are very strong extremely difficult and unpleasant to walk on the leash. They are very well-behaved dogs, but the moment I put them on a leash, they become uncontrollable. I watched the setup video that came with the leash. It took me only 10 minutes to set-up and fit the two Gentle Leaders. I immediately took the dogs for a walk, and like a miracle, neither of them pulled.

Great pads. You can wash them just like any other linen and reuse them. I have used these for over a year now and they still come out like brand new without any loss of containment of liquids. Just a great product. I would recommend this to any pet owner in need.
Bottom line, it works! We have a iron railing fence and just adopted a 7 lb Pomeranian. He could go right through the bars. Put the puppy bumper on and he can not get through the fence. It doesn't weigh too much and he doesn't seem to mind having it on. My dog is not an escaper so he doesn't try to hard to get out but I don't think he could if he tried.

I have a baby Chihuahua and this did not work for us. When I followed the directions for fitting, it was too tight for me to able to snap the final clip to secure it to his head. And when I did, he still got it off three times from the nose. I guess he is too small, but I didn't want to wait for unwanted behavior to settle in while he got older. Even if it did stay on, it is not something that I would feel comfortable with keeping on him full time and it would have been too difficult to get it on him every time we went for a walk. Tough situation for me. I know this works for other people and other breeds, but unfortunately it did not work for us.

great balls, the dog loves them and they look cool. Would recommend. Not for very large dogs though as the ball is quite small.
This lead seems to be a good quality, a bit stiff but it is real leather not suede. After some use I'm sure it will losen up. We tried to get our dog to hold it in his mouth so he could ask us to take him out but he seems to have been taught (he was an adopted dog) not to take things like this.
This tray is easliy broken and is hard to clean with the little cracks and grooves in it. Unfortunately it's the only option for the Richell Expandable Pet Pen. However the pen is very nice and sturdy.
I have a rescued lab that was never trained to walk on a leash. She would pull us all over. I checked out this leash at a local pet festival in our town and bought one immediately. The dog learned quickly that constantly pulling on this leash was futile. It wears her out to try and pull forward, because the lease is trying to pull her back. She quickly has become a joy to walk.
Item was exactly as described and it arrived quickly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to contain their dog in the home. We have two dogs that need to be separated when they are fed. This works great. We also have two other zone discs that we use to keep the dogs off the living room furniture, one in each doorway. We have the outside fence system so they are very familiar with the beeping warning. Helpful info: Don't move the zone disc or change the area it covers or it confuses the dogs. they are very easily moved while vacuuming, walking by them or curious kids. We find that as long as they are in plain site the dogs can handle slight changes since they associate the disc with the correction and learn to stay a certain distance from it.
pee pads are awsome i put them all over so he can get used to them and slowly removed them one by one ! worked great.

The product is very absorbent but my puppy uses it as a bed sheet instead of a pee pee pad.
I am a 67 year old, 124 lb. woman with a 61 lb. hound that is all muscle. I hate to walk her because I get dragged all over the place. She lunges at gates and doors dragging me with her and caused me some cuts and scrapes on some occasions. I've tried all sorts of collars and harnesses and even tried the Halti Halter. The halter she hated and was constantly trying to rub it off and succeeded many times. I was very skeptical of the Halti Harness. From the moment I put it on her she was a changed dog. Not only did she not lunge through the gate but she walked on a loose leash, amazing. I was walking her with this big foolish grin on my face because I was so amazed and pleased. Now our walks are enjoyable and consequently my hound will get walked regularly which makes her happy. I have never reviewed an item before, thought they were a waste of time, but I had to comment on this item because I was so impressed. Something so simple changed something that was so miserable to do into something pleasurable.

I have read a few reviews and I must say. After using a Halti Harness harness on a 105 LB Black Lab and a oRot 135 lbs Rottweller. You must be a very small girl or you parents bought you to big of a dog for you may I suggest a dog behavior class. I have NEVER heard of these problems. I would think of having a Halti Dog Harness Multi-Functional! No Pull Plus Regular Harness,and a Medium one. Sounds like the dog is walking you, go to the gym or get in a few fights and see where you stand on the man scale. I am 6' foot 209 and these boys of mine know who the alpha is in my house. This product has marginally relieved pressure on my arm from keeping my dog from pulling as hard as she can, but she can still pull hard enough to loosen the straps, and pop the clip off that attaches to her collars. I only put the on her when I walk her as I think it would chafe under her armpits.
Before I got my TreatToob, I was using a can of Cheese Whiz as a training aid to try to teach my dog how to use his nose to push things. They Cheese Whiz was clumsy, messy and rarely stuck to things. The Treat Toob is amazing! I filled it with peanut butter. The opening is very wide and when you remove the cap completely it's flexible enough to even fit a spoon or spatula through. I use the Toob to apply peanut butter to the pointer or item I want him to push and he's learning what it really means. It's also a very good reward following clicker training, since he can take a little lick as a reward and not have to chew a treat. I haven't tried cleaning it yet but it doesn't seem difficult.
I have a chocolate lab and when I first installed the fence he was still a 3 month old puppy. Originally I went with the petsafe stubborn dog fence but upon looking at the size of the collar which is the same as this one I am reviewing, I decided it is too big to put on my cute little puppy. So, I switched to the deluxe version that beeps which worked fine until my dog was 7 months when he realized that it was worth it for him to get the shock and get loose. So I bought this collar, and for the last 5 days he is staying in the yard. He was shocked once when I first bought it and hasn't tried to get out since. I think part of it is the size, beeping, vibration and also the stronger shock. Compared to the light collar, this uses a standard 9V battery which is cheaper and easier to find than the petsafe kind. Doing some research, there are two packages for this receiver, RF-275 and PRF-275. Both are the same. The PRF-275 is an older packaging. It is the same exact receiver on both.

We have two Malamute Giants (185lbs each). We put the stubborn dog setting on level 5 and it had little effect. I then added a second one to their collars on setting five and they would then run through the fence. So, logic would dictate a third at level five and lets just say that they attempted to cross the flag markers once. That was over a year ago. We have the invisible fence around our 40 acres and the pups can roam where they want without worry of them leaving the property. Highly recommend this product. I would advise caution if additional collars are added as the shock can be traumatic and possibly deadly if not administered in minor phases. Seek your vet's advice before adding additional units.
