I had used a underground dog fence several years ago at another house. We moved and installed a fence around our new yard. My dogs just dog under the fence. We had to install this underground fence and it has been wonderful. It only took them a weekend of peaceful training to get them familiar with their new boundaries. Dogs are no longer escaping and we feel safe when we leave them outside unattended. By the way, both dogs are large breeds and their escape holes were very large. The fence has worked great.

I have a pitbull-mix rescued from the streets of the Bronx who, I'm sure, has lived through hell. She is hyper-energetic and strong even at age 10+. I've always resisted using pronged collars but finally gave in after 8 years of exhausting walks and all kinds of training. The metal pronged collars takes the edge off and allows for a tolerable walk, but this collar is not effective because of the shorter "teeth" and her high pain threshold; however, it does work on my other larger dog who doesn't pull as aggressively, so whether this collar will work for you will depend on the age (younger the better), the nature of your dog, and--for obvious reasons--the thickness of the fur around its neck.

This collar was the best thing for our dogs as well for our arms and shoulders. The pinch collar does not cause any harm to our Husky/Chow or our Rottweiler. It provides a better experience for us during walks and when running with our beautiful dogs. These dogs are known for their powerful pulling capabilities and the collar helps them to control the urge to pull with all their might. I recommend this collar for senior citizens, kids, and handicapped dog walkers. Our dogs love their time out of the house and when they see us get the collars you can see the excitement in their eyes, they don't hide or growl at site of the collar. The steel prong collars need to be replaced by this non abusive dog collar!

This is an outstanding collar which was recommended to us by our dog trainer. It gives you so much control when training & walking your dog.

Our dog loves it & walks so proud, head held high, & no pulling. She is right at my side where she belongs. Its small teeth grip just like her mothers did. No pain, just all business & control. This is our third dog to have one. I wouldn't use anything else. Who wants to walk down the street with your dog walking (pulling) you? Not me, we both look & know what we're doing. It's a very comfortable, but exhillerating walk!!!

I have a dog that pulls and responds to pinching. I tried choke collar but it didn't work, it made her cough in discomfort but she kept pulling. I decided to buy one of these as they are recommended for these types of cases.

The collar fit my dog fine, had to remove two links to make it fit without having too much loose space. The collar worked, when the dog started pulling it instantly responded to the collar and stopped trying to rip my arm off. She walked like an angel for once. I could actually train her to have more efficient walks with me with a bike when I had more control over her. Every time I put the collar on her she immediately brightens up for she knows she is going on a walk again.

The shape of the collar is great, the materials, not so much. It's made of plastic and the pieces that hold it together can snap off eventually. If you are a crafty type you might be able to make a mold out of one link and replace the flimsy bits with better ones. The collar that I bought actually had one broken link as the person who assembled the link used too much force when connecting one of the end links. The design works, the materials don't, and also if you have a large dog I suggest getting the extra link with it as well.

Now I'll get on my soap box about people who haven't tried this type of product and one star rate it because it's "inhumane". No, I would not put this collar on and let you walk me. No I wouldn't put this on my children. Neither would I put my children on a leash, make them poo outside and eat from a cup on the floor. This is an animal, carnivore, pack animal beast that is tamed over thousands of years. They do not have same social structure as humans do, they have no elected leaders or voting rights. When they do not like what another dog in their pack does they pinch it from the neck with their teeth. Mother does that to their pups and their neck has very strong muscles, kind of the type you have in your legs. When they fight, they go for the neck to show the rival they are stronger and get them to the ground. It's as inhumane as blowing bubbles in a fish tank, you wouldn't put your childern in a fish tank, you wouldn't blow bubbles on them while they are there locked inside that glass. This product works, and my dog isn't traumatized by it. She loves it, every time I put it on her she knows we're going on a walk and is clearly happy and looking forward to it.

I have two greyhounds, which are soft seeking missiles. They're not happy just laying on the floor for very long and get fussy, because they don't have much body fat or thick fur for padding. Their beds at home are kuranda beds, which is another type of cot-style bed that is designed for heavy use. They're wonderful but you can't really travel with them AND the dogs unless you have a large vehicle. I've forsaken the large expensive "mega pillow" style beds because they're hard to clean and you have to replace them basically every year after they go flat, and besides, they also have the same bulk problem for traveling. So, my poor hounds have had to just travel with these roll up fleece beds I bought from a greyhound adoption group.

So, I was really excited to find this bed. I hardly ever see this style of bed for large dogs, and when I have, they're really expensive, which isn't worth it for a bed they're only going to use maybe 10-15 times a year. It's the perfect size one greyhound. I actually just ordered a 2nd one for my other dog. There was no assembly required, I just unfolded the bed and put on the fitted sheet. I just had to pat on the bed and my dog laid on it immediately and looked pleased.

The metal frame seems to be really sturdy and good quality. The canvas isn't anything spectacular, it's not like the stuff on my kuranda beds. It's the kind you'd find on one of those $20 canvas folding chairs. However, at this price point, that's ok. Also, they reinforced the canvas at some critical points with webbed nylon strapping. That, plus the quilted fitted sheet should negate the low quality canvas. When collapsed, the bed fits nicely in the back of my Jetta's trunk.

This works great. We also have two other zone discs that we use to keep the dogs off the living room furniture, one in each doorway. We have the outside fence system so they are very familiar with the beeping warning. Helpful info: Don't move the zone disc or change the area it covers or it confuses the dogs. they are very easily moved while vacuuming, walking by them or curious kids. We find that as long as they are in plain site the dogs can handle slight changes since they associate the disc with the correction and learn to stay a certain distance from it.

I buy these at my local grocery store for $1.79 per 4 ounce bag. People please shop around this price is outrageous unless, of course, there is a gold nugget at the bottom of the bag.

My golden enjoys a few "yummy chummies" on her regular food; I enjoy the added Omega oil health benefit. Her coat is silky and no problems with dry skin or hot spots. A healthy treat that is a change from the regular biscuit.

My dog loves this treat.

However, Amazon carries close to expiry products and my 1st order & its replacement were both expired on arrival. I am still waiting for the credit to my account for the expired goods a year later! (something to do with multiple returns on the same order & their computer system can't handle it)

The treat is supposed to be semi-soft & chewy not hard. If it is hard & tough, it's been stored improperly or has expired.

I will continue buying this treat, but not from Amazon.

Absolutely terrible product. The end caps fall off when the dog runs. The volume went out and it costs $40 to fix, and they claim to be water resistant but I do not believe them. To turn them on or off you rotate the end cap and they never match up. Buy the tritronics one for $100 instead..

In case you're wondering like I was, you can't use a remote to make this unit beep.

This unit is controlled by a motion sensor in the unit. The mode is set by a physical switch on the unit (not by a remote).

I got this for $31 shipped on Amazon, when it was $79 everywhere else. I wanted an inexpensive beeper since I have never used one, I didn't know how the dog would react. This beeper has alot of features for the money, I have used it on 4 weekends hunting, and it has worked great. The dog hated it at first but got used to it. I will say it is definately worth the $31, I think for $79 I might shop a little harder and maybe upgrade for a few extra bucks.
