The package arrived semi-intact. Some crushing of it but not a lot of lost treats/biscuits. The treats themselves are okay. We're still searching for the right tartar control treats since Nutro changed their formula. All in all there were fine but not ones we'd use on a regular basis.

I have loved Old Mother Hubbard dog biscuits for some time now. I had never seen these Tartar Control biscuits in the stores but thought they'd be helpful for my dogs so I ordered them two bags. On opening the first bag, a strong rancid smell was quite noticeable. The second bag was the same. I ordered these on February 5, 2013. The expiration date on both bags was in April of 2013 so they should have been good till then at the least. Most products are good till sometime after the expiration date. Either way these were not in a good condition to consider them fresh. I did call the manufacturer to report the poor quality of the product. Hopefully whatever caused this unusual occurrence in a normally quality product will be rectified.

I bought this product for tartar control and hopefully a bad breath solution. My Chloe's breath is still not great. I'm not sure about the tartar control. But this is a fantastic treat for the inside of a Kong because your dog will lick up every speck and it doesn't smell. Hence, it leaves your carpet realively clean while giving your dog a crunch treat that might help with tartar.

The best help for tartar, however, is an uncooked deer leg. I know that may sound gross to many, but my neighbors hunt deer for the food. None of us in my neighborhood have much money. After the deer are dressed for freezing, a winter's supply of food, my neighbor gives me a few deer legs for Chloe. One deer leg and her teeth are sparkling clean, just as nature designed.

I had high hopes when I ordered this dog treat. I was surprised when it arrived so dry that the treats were crumbly in the package; especially since the package states that the treats should be refrigerated after they are opened. I figured I would give some to my dog and see how he liked them. He didn't. Won't touch them. I threw the whole package away.

My two poodles are pad trained. I have been upset because the pads I have used for four years are no longer available. I decided to try these pads. I have to tell you when I took the first one out of the package I thought it was disgusting looking. I put it down and my dog used it OMG it looked so nasty! BUT the spot didn't spread and stayed small and it totally absorbed quickly. Usually I have to change pads after every pee, but with two of these down I was able to wait 5 pees! I bought this training pad pack wanting to be green as we use so many of these for our old dog. However, I got weird little dust pellets all over my face and floors. It was a mess to clean up. The dust is inside the training pad an any little tear will spill this mess all over you and your house. I hope it's not poisonous because I got it in my nose and mouth.

I've been using the simple solutions original training pads and when I saw these, I absolutely LOVED the idea of saving space in the landfill and ordered these immediately since my puppy was already using the original pads with NO problems. Well...these turned out to be a total disaster because these have small black specks in between the liners that it attracted my puppy to dig these out and therefore was shredding these pads to bits. I couldn't get him to stop and after almost a week, I went back to the simple solution original training pads. I was disappointed as I hate the idea of filling up the landfills with these pads that don't degrade like the eco-care.

Our 10 year old shih-tzu's back legs became paralyzed within 2 days of receiving his annual shots. He began to walk like a drunken sailor & within a few hours couldn't move his back legs, but could feel deep pain. Our vet said he might need surgery. I didn't like that idea so she treated him aggressively with steroids, muscle relaxants and pepcid for 36 hours. He didn't improve so we decided on back surgery & were told his chances of walking again were 10% with the aggressive treatment & 85% with surgery. We were told to get the house ready for him to come home...which meant a place to keep him confined for 4 weeks. We are using an old play pen that isn't safe for children, put a 4" thick orthopedic mattress in it, filled the empty space with boxes so our dog won't fall off the mattress, put an old shower curtain over everything & tucked it in...so he can't slip into any space and hurt his back or legs; put an old rug on top of the shower curtain and two puppy pads on top of everything. It turned out that he's never messed in his bed...and I found another use for the puppy pads.

We use a sling to hold up his back half, otherwise, he'd fall down. We usually keep the sling on him when he potties...of course, he pees on it, and the sling needs to be laundered before we can use it again. I decided to cut up a puppy pad & duct tape it around the sling! Problem solved. The pad easily slips off the sling when I need to change it. His sling has never gotten wet again. This is the only brand of puppy pads I've ever used so I can't compare them. However, these pads are doing a great job keeping the sling dry; I don't notice any pee odor on the pads. The pad catches all his pee & none of it drips onto the ground...so I'd say these are very absorbent. I get 4 sling covers from one pad. The size small sling for our Tzu measures 15" long x 4.5" wide. These puppy pads have proven to be invaluable & have saved me from doing endless loads of laundry, and buying more slings.

Our family was recently blessed with the sweetest little puppy but he's definitely more of a chewer than any dog I've ever had. My husband and I are both techno geeks so we have a lot of not only expensive but dangerous electrical stuff that we just can't pick up off the floor. While kitten proofing my room for my new Siamese (he's 8 weeks old), I decided that my rug tassels looks like heaven for a tiny cat. My kitten arrived two days ago and sure enough, he tried to chew up my carpet tassels. One tiny bite, and he immediately dropped the tassel and went back to his toys. To be safe, I've been respraying any area I catch him looking at. He has yet to mess with anything that as been sprayed. I have since taken to following him around the room and spraying anything he bites. I've even sprayed this on the edge of my bed sheets. Nothing has stained.

By accident, I did get some on his food bowl. I rushed it to the sink and washed it with plain old soap and hot water. This spray came right off. Just be careful where you spray and this stuff will work!

Did not work on my dog, actually, I am her human, but I am not surprised in the least. She is a Jack Russell and Lab mix. Size of a lab and 70 lbs of ATTITUDE. It took har 30 minutes to negate an electronic collar to prevent barking. Howling and high pitched yipes were the result. Don't mess with Mother Nature. Probably not the products fault. Great product for the price! Sturdy and big enough for my 4 French Bulldogs to sleep in at night. I don't use this for a cage when I'm not home, so I can't rate it for that. The only problem I have is trying to fold it up to put back in the bag ...it was very hard ...for me anyway. Luckily I am leaving it out all the time.

We trial 3 dogs in agility (a 40 pound beagle mix, a 50 pound Aussie, and a 70 pound Red Tick Coonhound). All 3 dogs fit very well in this pen. It has more space than a traditional XPen. Caution: If your dog is a digger, this is not for you. It could roll easily.

The zippers are not terrific quality. I have a feeling they'll give out soon, at which time I will probably need to come up with a Velcro solution. That's really my only complaint about this product.

Small Slip Leash in Black

I like this item because the lead is short enough so I don't need to take up a whole lot of slack in order to keep my dog, who would otherwise pull, next to my side. The fabric is also soft on the hands. The lead is nice cuz I can slip it over her head and go, it stays high up on the dog's neck giving me total control.

The slip lead works great. Bought it for my 9 week old bird dog puppy, he couldn't twist around and pull his head out. The lead has no sharp edges and loosens as soon as pressure is released. PetZen HitchN Leash Pet Lead Restraint

I got this leash over a year ago for my Grandpa's dog, who is over at our place about 1/2 the week. This leash is wonderful, the gripper is nice and big and easy to use. It is adjustable without the retractable thing..(I hate those they seem to break at all the wrong times). The clip at the top doubles as a handle, and it is especially nice for my grandpa so he can hold it better. I often hook it to my purse if my hands are full, too. Very durable too, though we have used it for over a year there is no wear/tear on it. I am buying a second one now because my grandpa will not use any other leash, and I forget it sometimes. Just wish it came in different colors.
