Our family was recently blessed with the sweetest little puppy but he's definitely more of a chewer than any dog I've ever had. My husband and I are both techno geeks so we have a lot of not only expensive but dangerous electrical stuff that we just can't pick up off the floor. We were so frustrated and I thought there was no way to stop our little hoover vacuum from munching on everything in site but one quick chomp of my husband's shoe laces after spritzing this stuff on them and he learned that the smell equals yuck! Now all he has to do is sniff it and he turns tail and runs. So far it's kept his maw away from electrical cords, military boots that hubby has to keep looking nice, furniture that isn't ours, and even toes. He's got a really bad habit of biting at our feet and even with my sensitive skin it doesn't bother me a bit. So far there has been no staining, even where we sprayed it on a certain part of the (beige) carpet he likes to nibble. The smell isn't too bad...smells like rubbing alcohol but wash your hands after spraying, especially if you're like me and an occasional nail biter! I learned this the hard way. :)

This is absolutely a must have if you've got a destructive but stubborn pooch who doesn't like to hear the word "no". Now we're able to enjoy our sweet boy without all the frustration and are ready for when his adult teeth start coming in.

My dogs (half chihuahua, half whippet) are high energy and tend to chew when nervous. I wanted to get them a new bed cause their last one was so chewed they hardly had enough room on it. So I got this product to spray on the bed before I let them sleep on it. That was about 2 months ago, and so far no chew marks. While kitten proofing my room for my new Siamese (he's 8 weeks old), I decided that my rug tassels looks like heaven for a tiny cat. I looked at a whole bunch of "no chew" sprays online, but this one seemed to have the best reviews. Figuring it couldn't hurt, I went over to my local pet store and purchased a small bottle. I sprayed every wire, tassel, cord,piece of tape and carpet edge. After using 3/4 of my 8 oz bottle, my room REEKED of rubbing alcohol for about 1 hr. I left my window open and let the room settle. By the next morning, the room was totally odorless. I could not tell where I sprayed. Some other people online had mentioned that once this product dried it lost it's effectiveness. To be sure, I licked my cords. It wasn't the worst thing I ever tasted, but I certainly wasn't going to mess with it. It did make my tongue burn just a tiny bit.

My kitten arrived two days ago and sure enough, he tried to chew up my carpet tassels. One tiny bite, and he immediately dropped the tassel and went back to his toys. To be safe, I've been respraying any area I catch him looking at. He has yet to mess with anything that as been sprayed. I have since taken to following him around the room and spraying anything he bites. I've even sprayed this on the edge of my bed sheets. Nothing has stained.

By accident, I did get some on his food bowl. I rushed it to the sink and washed it with plain old soap and hot water. This spray came right off. Just be careful where you spray and this stuff will work!

I used this on my GSD's hot spot. Much to my dismay, she kept on licking. So back to the drawing board!

Did not work on my dog, actually, I am her human, but I am not surprised in the least. She is a Jack Russell and Lab mix. Size of a lab and 70 lbs of ATTITUDE. It took har 30 minutes to negate an electronic collar to prevent barking. Howling and high pitched yipes were the result. Don't mess with Mother Nature. Probably not the products fault. Should have named her 'Mind over Matter' and not EZ dawg!!
