Pet In-ground Fencing System W-227 With Two collars

It is an ok product. I bought it for my 50 pound Bassett hound and if it is not all the way turned up then she can run right through it. Also the wire is very flemsy and one little kink and it won't work. The battery life also is very poor on the collar. So I truly would not recommend it at all

Very disappointing. Hooked the system to an existing wire. Checked both collars; OK. Adjusted control box; OK. Next day collar not working; 9volt battery dead. Changed battery and had to readjust the control higher. 3rd day collar not working and control warning light on; control box very hot. Took cover off and found transistor blown apart. Control box components did not look very robust. Send back and got a refund. Bought a Pet Smart SD-2000; 3 weeks and still working.

Best to order 2 collars, maybe one of them will work! battery life is about 4 days and no on off switch. Spend a little more money and get a good system!

The collars work great..I wish that the prongs came in different sizes as my dogs are small and would like the option of having shorter prongs.
