It has been 4 weeks and the battery is already dead! Suddenly this collar is a huge investment. I have not been able to find a cheaper version and thought buying the "real" batteries would ensure a higher quality product. I don't think I would have bought the collar if I knew how expensive these are (although the collar is great!).

The first time I posted a review about the rip-off $59.99 price for two measly batteries, the price instantly came down to $14.50. As a result, I re-wrote my review and commented that I hoped the sellers would have the decency to refund anyone who purchased at the inflated price. I received a snitty comment from the sellers who claimed they'd never sold it at the inflated price, and yet here we are again, two weeks later, the price is back up to $59.99. Folks, DO NOT buy these batteries here you can get them for $9.99 each elsewhere on Amazon (see Petsafe RFA-188 3-Volt Lithium Battery Module). And read the reviews before you purchase too they'll tell you how to make the batteries last longer and how to replace the battery yourself.

I have had great success with the petsafe small dog training collar, when it's working. My dog who was aggressive with other dogs is like a lamb without having to use more than the beeper to remind him. also became easy to take in the car. But I have had trouble with these batteries. One quit after maybe 3 hours use. One wouldn't stop beeping. I changed out the battery and the collar stopped beeping so I know it was the battery. Also had trouble with the collar itself. I've given up on this product and now am searching for another brand that is hopefully more reliable

We bought the dye for our maltese to go to a princess party, screaming pink. It worked great. Make sure to have clorox cleanup after, it makes a mess. After each wash it lightens a little but he's still very pink, love it!
