I was looking for a short leash. We have a very strong German Shepherd. I recently had shoulder surgery and needed a short lead to hold in my left hand. This leash is perfect for us. It is a nice quality leash.

The lead arrive quickly and is very sturdy. It serves to control dogs that want to run around or tow you. It is also safer in traffic because it is short.

I just received this, and I'm really not impressed. The leather feels and looks like plastic, and the stitching pulled out the first time I spread the loop open.

Hopefully the remaining stitching and braiding holds up. We'll see.

This is not a comfortable leash. It is a very hard leather and left red marks on my wrist. It feels more like a plastic handle. I would not recommend this leash.
