I've gone through several choke collars for my basenji mix and this is the first one that she seems to pay attention to. (I haven't used the metal pincher collars because I consider them cruel.) The collar is well made and you just slip it over your dogs head. and its comfortable enought that you can leave it on your dog. As for size my girl is around 26 pounds and I purchased the small to medium size. When the day comes that she wears this one out I WILL purchase another one!
