It worked for about 2 hours. Then he was used to the noise. Not bad for 5 dollars. But I'd go a total different way. I could make the whistle sound with an app on my phone. Kinda cheaply made too. Will not buy from again.

It did stop the barking but she would not move while wearing the collar. Decided we'd rather have her play with the other dog over sitting in one spot watching the house. Then I thought maybe it would work to have it turned off while it was on her. That was better. Tried it again yesterday but the batteries were dead. Haven't had it very long and used it maybe 3 days at the most and batteries are shot. Not happy.
