Advance Dog Training Pads

My cat was diagnosed with vestibular syndrome. Basically she couldn't keep her balance due to a disbalance in the inner ear. It can be caused from anything from an ear infection to a tumor to what most cases are: idiopathic. (In otherwords, no cause found.) Mostly happens to older dogs but sometimes cats. Luckily, she aced the other tests and ruled out anything major. Most idiopathic cases resolve in days to months.

The first week she couldn't co-ordinate herself to stand much less walk, so I used the Advance pads for her to lie upon while I was at work and couldn't help her to her litterbox. Since she couldn't do much but roll around to right herself I wasn't sure what to expect when I got home. I was very pleased that the pads are nice and big and quilted but was worried she'd still be dirty and ready for a bath.

These pads worked great.

They wicked the moisture away so well that she stayed dry and odor free even when laying directly on the pad. In fact, I could only tell there was pee in the pad when I picked it up and it was heavy (and no, it never ran from the pad even when I carried it by the corner). As for the poops, she'd sort of roll them up in it afterwards =)

She's doing really well and slowly getting better everyday. We still use the pads just in case.

During her rehab I ran out of Advance pads and bought Hartz on sale. Hartz might be ok for some uses but much smaller and not as thick. They didn't work for us. I ended up going back for the Advance.

I have used these for years and the really pick up the moisture. I prefer the ones that come wih blue pattern under the white because you can tell each time the pad is used.

Highly recommend. However, be awary what sid you are placing up as the back side is so good at not letting moisture through if it is up and not the paper side, the puddle will just sit there until you soak it up with paper towles.

An excellent product! My dog has to take medication for a heart condition and it causes him to produce excess urine. We have tried many different brands and types of pads and these pads are the only one's we have used that actually absorb and retain the urine without making a mess everywhere. I wish the quilted part of the pad extended to the edge of the liner on all four sides instead of two, but other than that, I haven't found a better pad.

I just had a litter of pups & these pads worked pretty well until the amount of pee increased & then it would soak through the pad & my floor would get wet. Guess I will have to try another brand.

While the reaction on the chicken-flavored ones is about a four and the reaction on this one is an all-alarm five, I will likely purchase the chicken one in future, just because I hate touching the fish one, and I also noticed the kitties were liking treat time so much that they kept wondering if perhaps treat time might also come now, and now, and at this other time in addition. But you can see the product does exactly what it's supposed to. The cats love it (it's in big chunks that they can gnaw), I know it's healthy real food with only one ingredient (salmon), and it certainly makes them feel happy and special to get to eat it.

Two of our four cats are allergic to grain. It's bad enough they get mouth ulcers when they get hold of it, so we have to be ultra careful to give them both food and treats with no grain.

That's easier said than done when so many companies use wheat, corn, and gluten as fillers.

These freeze-dried salmon treats are nothing but salmon. The cats love them and I feel good about feeding them.

It worked for about 2 hours. Then he was used to the noise. Not bad for 5 dollars. But I'd go a total different way. I could make the whistle sound with an app on my phone. Kinda cheaply made too. Will not buy from again.

It did stop the barking but she would not move while wearing the collar. Decided we'd rather have her play with the other dog over sitting in one spot watching the house. Our old shock collar broke and for a while our coon hound was not barking but then she realized she no longer had a working collar and started barking again. After some neighborhood complaints, we decided to get another collar. Seen this one was happy about the price and so far, it is working great! I love that you can do a vibrate instead of a shock to get her attention. After shocking her twice, she got the message and no longer barks. The only problem we have had with it is that the collar does not shut off. The blue light continues to blink even if we press the power button. But we only need to charge it once a week so we can live with that. The remote is kind of big and bulky but since she doesn't seem to need it all of the time, we don't feel the need to carry it around with us. Great collar for the price.

Wish I would have purchased this collar years earlier. Would have saved me lots of time, efforts and frustration on one of our more challenging dogs. After years of unresolved behavior issues, this collar allowed us to make significant progress in only two days. I would highly recommend it for both quality and effectiveness.

So I didn't buy the cheaper version due to the negative reviews and spent a little more on this one. The thing worked flawlessly for a week or two but now it won't hold a charge and goes dead after a few minutes of putting it on the dog. I have contacted the company and hopefully they will take care of the issue. If so I will update this review.

item does beep, vibrate, and shock has good range from weak to intense. I have changed the batteries and completely charged the collar and the best line of sight range I am getting is around 45 yards. This is my experience.

Nice product seems to be of quality but the collars only stay charged for about two days at best and after charging they have to be relearned. Wish the warning tone could be shut off also. Collars were replaced several times with no better results
