This model is virtually identical with the more expensive Aetertech, Great range .I don't know if ist waterproof ,but it certaily got wet plenty times without problems.So far no problems and the dog has much improved.

This product has changed my headstrong dog into a delightful companion. The days of multiple commands and only a possible reaction are gone. He now pays attention when I give a command and immediately reacts. I've only used the Zap function a couple of times when he got into potentially dangerous situations and even then it was at a very low level. What I find very useful is the vibrate function he reacts to that as if I had a leash attached. It's wonderful.

I love this thing it was a little hard to get the remote to program to the collar at first but after that it has transformed my dog that would dart out the door and run, into a dog that will walk next to me down the street with out a leash. going to parks and the beach has never been so much fun before. If you got a good dog that you want to make a great dog. this will do it..../.......

We put this on my dog and without pushing any button on the hand heldreceiver, it started shocking my dog! It hurt/shocked my dog so much that she began biting her tongue until it was bleeding! Even with taking the battery out of the handheld receiver, it continued to shock her! It gave her such a bad reaction that even when I was trying to get the collar off her, she was biting at me so much that I couldn't get the collar off her for a full minute of this torture for my dog. AWFUL!
