I can't believe how soft and supple the leather is. The padded handle is so very comfortable. Also, it is the most beautiful, well made leash I've owned in 40 years. After discarding so many poorly-made leashes with broken snap hooks, faded mesh, and stiff leads, this one is such a joy to use. I've used leather cleaner/conditioner on it to preserve its natural beauty, and enhance its soft feel. For my large dog, the 3/4-inch width is ideal. If you have a small dog, you might prefer the 1/2-inch width.
