Bought this so my dog could not lick his hotspot on his paw and wanted something more comfortable than the big plastic cone but it doesn't work. I would give it no stars if that was an option.
the collar itself is fine, and much better than hard plastic, but the string slips. the squeeze button didn't hold it in place. i removed the button and tied the string with a double knot, and it still slipped. my cat was able to either get her arm through or completely get the collar off. i replaced the string and it works fine now.

I would not recommend this for a cat. I used it today and my big guy ripped 2 holes in it. But, for a small dog it would be just fine. I'll pass this on to my sister.
