We bought this for our 90lbs german shep/lab mix puppy, just to get him to come when we call him from the yard, keep him from running off in the woods, etc. Sometimes the collar works and sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes we can get it to shock, and sometimes it just wont. We can get it to vibrate and get it to make noise, and get it to change settings, but sometimes it just wont shock! We cannot rely on it at all, we have no idea if its working or not. It frustrates us more then anything, so we tried it for a couple weeks and have just given up on it.
I just got this product and at first I thought it was really great then after my pup wearing it for a full 24 hours and a few vigorous times of shaking and scratching the unit detaches from the collar due to no permanent connection to the collar it is looped and or slotted to fit around the unit in to some groves...but this can be adjusted by using glue dbl sided tape or velcro from the unit to the collar or something better..
