Spiked Training Collar - Large

This collar was nicer than I expected and I got good results for my head strong dog. The thing I did not like is that the clasp to open or close the collar was very difficult for me to operate. It was just too hard for my "weak" fingers. I had to use a pair of pliars, but ended up putting a easier to use clasp onto the one originally on the collar. It was easy to shorten the collar for my dog's smaller size neck just by simply removing a few links.

I have an 85 lb Australian Shepard that is very hard to keep under control with a standard choke collar. This one works great. He knows when it goes on and doesn't fight it so I rarely have to cinch it on him.

I would recommend this collar, especially for smaller Women or children, who have a large dog. Nothing worse than being dragged down the street if your dog sees something he has to check out.... it won't happen with this collar on.

BTW the collar is not "cruel", it does not stick through their skin, just uncomfortable to fight.
