We recently adopted a new kitten. I got these sleigh bells, so we were aware of when someone was opening the back door. Since, our little kitten named Belle loves to run to the door to see who is coming in. Being afraid that she may get out these bells are a nice warning that someone is coming in. Plus who doesn't love Christmas and the sound of sleigh bells. Love this!

I originally bought it in an attempt to train my new dog to go potty. However, she is so good at going twice a day that I didn't need to train her with bells. I did have to extend the bells downwards by tying a ribbon at the door handle (for the dog to reach so as not to scratch the door frame or smear the glass pane). Now that the bells are not used by the dog, we still enjoy the pleasant ring whenever the kitchen door opens/closes. I am very happy with the leather and the metal used to make this unit. Good value too.
