I have an english bulldog that does not like his nails or ears cleaned. While we train him to let us do that we are using this muzzle. It doesn't work great but it does work. The fit is a little bit off but we're talking about a bulldog here. Their faces and heads were not made to really work with muzzles. The fact that this one has the strap that goes up over the head makes all the difference.

The thought is a great idea. I have a black lab that loves the park for running. Because we walk him a lot of times when it's dark, we needed some way of tracking him easily. The lighted collar works really well with a new battery, but that probably last for about 4-5hrs. and then becomes very faint. Again, it is a great idea, but doesn't stay bright for as long as we would like it to.

First off, during the time it worked it was perfect. We have a black dog and the collar helped her stand out during the night. However, sizing the collar was difficult, involved cutting the plastic of the inner tube, and was less than intuitive.

The major point, though, is that it didn't work after 30 mins. We changed the battery figuring that maybe it was shipped with an old battery, but still nothing. All in all, we spent $20 for a wonderful 30 mins.

I purchased this product as an alternative to a rawhide. Our 5 month old German Shorthair Pointer puppy ate it in a matter of 6 minutes or less. She loved it, but it was more of an expensive treat.

With a puppy, I needed something to satisfy her chewing urge. The treat fractured into small bits all over the floor but our dog was willing to pick those up. This is a nice harness, it is easy to fit and looks comfortable on the dog. It does not however prevent the dog from pulling. If the dog is pulling the D clip where you attach the harness just swings over to the side. If the dog wants to pull they will still do so. It is not a miracle cure for pulling.

This is such a wonderful product. We recently got a chocolate lab puppy who would get WAY too excited when we would go for walks and she would pull very hard, so hard that she would choke herself and gag when we would walk. After purchasing this harness it was a completely different experience walking her. I absolutely enjoy walking her and I think she is happier too. I really like the look and stability of this gate, and it's perfect for my two aging large dogs. However, my minature daschund tried to jump up on it and his head went through the top of the bone cut-out, then he slid down into the narrow middle part of the bone cut-out and panicked. After several attempts to dislodge his head from the gate while he was flailing with hysterics we got a saw out to cut the gate apart. He finally writhed around on his side and slipped the gate before we had to cut it, but it was terrifying to listen to him scream. Use only around small dogs that don't jump.

Gate is exactly as shown. Solidly made, heavy enough wouldn't fall over if someone brushed up against it and neither of my big dogs can easily push it with their noses (or at least they haven't figured it out yet). It's a bit shorter in length than I expected (should have gotten the measuring tape out first!)I ended up attaching to the wall on one side and a bookshelf on the other. It's being used to block the entrance to a stairway that is quite open, so there's nothing to back the gate up on either end. With the smaller dog it wouldn't necessarily be a problem, however with my two larger dogs, they could lean on it and knock it over. I would highly recommend this over some of the other gates similarly priced or even the cheaper ones that look okay but turn out to be rather flimsy.

I'm sure not everyone has had this experience, otherwise this product would have been recalled. Here's the story and it's not pretty. About 4 or 5 days after I plugged in the diffuser, my dog starting having liquid diarrhea and gas. I couldn't get a full night's sleep for days because I had to take him out every couple hours throughout the night. The vet prescribed some medication to give his colon some relief. Because of the proximity in time between activating the diffuser and my dog getting diarrhea, and that there was no dietary explanation, I thought maybe the dog appeasing pheromone was causing it. So, I unplugged it for a while. My dog got better, with the help of the medication of course.

Then, I waited about 3 weeks and plugged the diffuser back in. I wanted to make absolutely sure it was the pheromone and not just a coincidence. Well, 5 days later he started having liquid diarrhea and gas again. So, I unplugged the diffuser and threw it out, along with my 3 refill pack. He recovered soon after. I believe this dog appeasing pheromone is harmful to my dog. I'm really surprised no one else has mentioned this in a review. I can't have the only dog in the world that has this reaction to it. He's a hearty border collie.

I'm not necessarily saying don't get this product. I'm just suggesting you pay close attention to your dog's digestive health in the first week of installing your diffuser. If you notice any negative change, get rid of it.

The cover has a very heavy chemical smell. Neither the dog nor the cats would come near it. After washing, it was much improved and did not shrink. This item arrived on time but unfortunately it is not something I would recommend. The picture shows a fluffy pillow stuffed and ready for a pup to snuggle into, however the product that arrived is simply under stuffed. If you have outdoor dogs, think about buying another one. If your dogs are still in the chewing stage, definitely buy another one. I found this in the yard, in about 1,000 pieces and it was not easy and incredibly frustrating to pick up. For a smaller, indoor dog, I see it working perfectly.

The stuffing does not hold up ~ it's now flat & lumpy.....no comfort for my aging dog whatsoever. He's had a few beds over the past 12.5 years that have all been great & held up well....this one is terrible. Beyond the stuffing being a mess ~ I've taken it out of the zippered cover a few times to wash it (that's a main reason I bought this one bc my dog has skin issues & things need to be washed frequently including him LOL).......the thin layer of covering on the stuffing has ripped bc it is flimsy & cheap even when I'm being incredibly gentle trying to remove it. I've never had this problem with any other bed. It's just not a quality product in the slightest. Don't waste your money.

I have a couple of live ones and a couple of dummy ones and my yorkie doesn't know the difference and won't cross them. I thought I would get what is PICTURED, a dummy looking Matt that would be an empty clear box (no electronics of course) attached (or able to be attached) to this clear Matt.

Yes the plastic is very similar to my real ScatMat (that has worked great for 2 years). But the lack of the box, and the lack of wires (or even JUST an image of thin wires would do the trick on the underside of the Matt... HINT HINT HINT) would have been great.

Like most folks I KNEW this was not a functional box (at 25% of the cost) but expected the "Dummy Matt" to at least RESEMBLE the real thing...

I have no idea (just got it today) if it will fool both of my cats, but I will try! I know if it simply LOOKED like the real thing that would have done it. My real Matt has had a dead battery for a month or more and both of our cats do not go near the doorway (bedroom) it protects. That was why I knew a dummy Matt would be fine... I hate to say it but I am quite tempted to return this and get a second functional Matt and leave the battery out...

I will give it a try, but really hate that BOTH PICTURES (two sizes) linked to this dummy item show the real thing. If you look CLOSELY the thumbnail picture in your order and below the item when you look at "Frequently Bought Together" shows what you will get. A completely clear Matt with the holes cut out for the box to attach. My guess is this is the Matt "raw" before it gets the wires in the factory. If they had simply SHOWED the correct picture my expectations would have been different and I would have given this more stars...

Come on guys, it would cost MAYBE a dollar to include a clear plastic box with the dummy matt, and the shipping box is already plenty big enough to contain it.

Also, fire the dolt who thought this packaging and product was a good idea (hire me!). This device should get it's own manual and NOT include the manual for the real scatmat! PetSafe Lickety Stik

Since neither of my 2 dogs can write about this new Lickety Stik, I will do my best.

A new idea for treats is always welcomed. We had 3 flavors of Stiks, Bacon, Chicken and Liver. We tried all three on both Sundae and Casey. Sundae licked all three and seemed to like them all. Casey, however, wouldn't try any of the three, just turning his head in apparent disgust (lol). Having had dogs my whole life, you never can tell what a dog will like or dislike. I didn't give this 5 stars, because of some functional reasons, not because Casey didn't even try it. First, the lick ball is exactly like a deodorant ball. As a matter of fact, the container reminds me of an Arrid Rollerball Deodorant bottle exactly. It doesn't move freely by just licking, you have to gently squeeze the bottle for the liquid to be available to the dog. If you squeeze too hard, it drips onto the floor. Other than that, it seems to be enjoyable. It is supposed to be healthy, but I had to use a magnifying glass to read the rather small label.

Update July/September 2012: Sad to say both my beautiful puppies in this video have passed on. They were both 12 years old.

I am a veterinarian with 7 years experience, and I have 3 Great Danes. I am always looking for safe, effective, fun, and innovative new pet products. I saw the video for this product, and definitely agree that carrying a pocketful of crumbling treats isn't much fun for training/rewards, so decided to give it a try. All 3 of my girls tried to bite the bottle at first (and I think most dogs will), but within a few seconds, all of them figured it out, and were licking away very happily, each taking their turn sitting down for me. I also recently used it to help keep them standing still while my 8 year old daughter gave them baths outside with the hose on a nice warm day....much less mess than doing it in the tub inside! It was also handy when we went for a short hike at a local park a while back, as I am training the 2 younger Danes to wear backpacks (that's a whole other story!). Even if the dogs jump in the river wearing their backpacks and get them soaked, their treats won't get soggy. The only thing I would like to see is using a liquid treat that's maybe a bit healthier for them...the ingredient list on the Lickety Stik looks like a lot of processed stuff. It does have a bit of an odor, too, but I didn't find it that strong or offensive like some of the other people here did. And I think it's the odor that really draws the dogs to come check it out...otherwise, why would they want to just lick a plastic roller ball?

Also, I think it would be nice to have a bottle that is just a little bit larger for the large/giant breeds like mine...but this does work well regardless. Finally, I think it would be great to have a refillable bottle, so there would be less waste...500 licks goes fast when you're training 3 big dogs!

Oh, and yes, I will re-order this, and do recommend it.

It's been several weeks of using it and there is still a ton of licking left, definitely getting my moneys worth out of this treat.

Another thing that has been nice is the ability to keep this in my pocket without making a mess. So going for a walk with it has been nice (and a great way to keep his attention when there are other not well behaved dogs around).

Well the puppy dog has spoken... he loves Lickety Stik!

When we first presented it to him he was a bit unsure and tried to bite the stick which was kind of cute but he quickly realized he had to lick it.

Now every time the Lickety Stik comes out as a reward or to teach him something, he just can't wait to lick the bejesus out of it.

Izzy, our mini schnauzer, is very food motivated. Schnauzers have a tendency to get chunky though, so rewarding her with food every time she does a trick is a balancing act between giving her something she likes but not having her snack with treats all day.

Bought this to try to keep my german shepherd from running off. We live in the country with several 300-500ft ravines, bluffs, forests, etc. Wanted something that wouldn't lose a signal. This fits the bill. My dog responded to the collar and was trained in less than 20 min. I don't use the shock part, only the beep. He is trained to come when I push the button twice. Working on one long tone to sit/stay, three short tones to come home. Great reception. I use in conjunction with the Garmin Astro GPS so I can keep tabs where my dog is on our daily excursions. My husband is a disabled veteran, and we recently got our puppy into training, working towards being a service dog. We have been looking into various harnesses and were staggered by the cost of most of them. The puppy is still growing, so we needed something adjustable and with removable patches. We had just about given up and decided to wait until he's full-grown before buying a harness when we found this one. It's exactly what we needed! Adjustable, removable patches, and they have a huge variety of replacement patches. We also really like the reflective strap across the front.

The harness is sturdy and seems well-made. My only complaint is that the plastic buckle on the girth strap seems flimsy, but we've been using the harness and the buckle held. Don't be misled by the fact that it's size "Medium." Our pup is 80 lbs. now, with about another 20 lbs. to grow, and it fits him very well. Overall, we are VERY happy with this harness. I would absolutely recommend it!

I returned this harness due to the craftmanship as it could not fit right on my type of dog(s). It WAS heavy duty, solid, and strong...those are it's scoring points. The dogs I have are SHEPHERDS. They have V-shaped chest cavities, and no matter how I adjusted the Velcro, it would NOT stay sturdy or straight. Too much slippage. It was obvious that this type of harness is specifically designed for LABRADORS ONLY and such breeds WITH A BARREL-SHAPED CHEST CAVITY. So if you are reading this, save yourself time, money, and aggravation and listen to my advise and don't be a dummy by ignoring it. If you have a dog with a barrel shaped chest cavity, it will likely work great, otherwise, NOT. I will say that the company did not give me any problems with the return, however keep in mind that their return policy is VERY short, so if you do not react right away for your return, you might eat it on the purchase.

This product is excellent value for the price. It is very well constructed with solid materials and heavy use stitching. My only caveat is to carefully measure your dog. I accidentally ordered one that is too small for our service dog, but luckily this harness is almost perfect for our 7 month old dog in training.

If I could add one more thing to it, I would have a sewn on clear pouch to slip my dog's certification card in. This way it wouldn't have to dangle from the D-Ring.

My dog is still wearing this product. I think I have had it for over two years. It is a little worn now, yet still works great. Now he has service dog on the sides, not intraining :-) .

The shipping time took awhile but the product works great! My dog was a barker and this worked almost instantly. He learned very quickly and now he does not even need to wear it even more after just one week! Totally worth buying!

I didn't notice the word "Shock" in the description so I had to return the collar(unused). They charged me a 10% restocking fee which was exceptable. The thing that got me was the postage. I returned it in the same mannor I received it (US Postal Service). They charged me $5.35 to ship it to me yet I only paid $1.85 to return it. This shipping overcharge adds up to a lot of revenue on their part.

I bought this for my 9-pound Miniature Pinscher Chihuahua mix "Zippy." It's nicely made and I loved the Velcro attachments -very strong. However, the harness's shape let Zippy slide right out if I picked him up by it (which I figured was a good simulation of what would happen if he were backing away from me with the harness tight). One thing to remember with these Puppia harnesses is that they fit small. I was satisfied with my purchase/delivery but sadly the harness did not fit so I returned to the seller for full refund and purchased a Large. All in all, it was a good experience and the harnesses made by Puppia are exceptionally durable. That's an important factor with my MaltiPom for whom I bought this particular harness. He chews through harnesses regularly.

Bought a medium camo for my 8lb 5 month old malshi. Fits him perfectly and is light weight and comfy. i liked how this wasn't a slip over his neck, but had a neck buckle. It also has velcro to adjust to his body. The buckles where you clip the leash are larger, which is nice and easy to clip. Your standard dog leash will not fit around both clips though (you need a larger leash clip end). He wears this all day without itching or biting at it and we take it off him when he sleeps at night. TRUST ME, I did my research and this is the best harness out there. It doesn't cause him discomfort either, which is what I was looking for. He looks like he's wearing a little dog sweater too, so it's cute. Only complaint is it turns my puppy's white fur black, but it washes off with dog shampoo in a bath. (edited: My puppy's now 11 months and the harness is still in good shape! I have now stopped having him wear it all day and only use it to go outside now.)

I used to use this just for my great dane, which is a giant dog, if you don't know, but now that I have kids and the dog has passed away and I still have these giant wee wee pads left, I line my baby's play pen with them and let him be naked in there. Clean up is easy peasy!

We have a geriatric cat who, from time to time, sleeps so soundly that he loses control of his bladder. Other than that there's nothing wrong with him. These pads have been a life saver for his little problem. The larger size makes it easier to cover the bed so that nothing ever gets onto the bedding itself. We also cover up the furniture with these. So glad we found these. They're large enough to absorb plenty of little accidents. We've already ordered another pack of these so that we won't run out. I've tried all brands of indoor potty pads. I have 5 indoor dogs, so potty pads are a necessary for us. Even though all my dogs are small, the other brands can only hold one or 2 uses before they spill out onto the floor. These are huge, very absorbent and work great. Overnight, my dogs can use it if they need to and some of them always need to. It doesn't leak out onto the floor, even if used 5 times.

I bought these to use if I am going to be away more than a few hours since my youngest dog only weighs a little under four pounds she can't go as long as my slightly bigger dogs. I also take them with me to rental vacation places to use just in case she needs to go out while I am away sightseeing. They are great. They are so large since my dog is so small that if need be one could last several days before I would need to replace it.
