Update 2/24/2013: Over two years later with weekly use and this collar is still functioning like it was new. There was an incident when I failed to re-insert the plug for the charging port correctly. This allowed water to enter the collar unit causing it to malfunction. DT's customer service was great. The collar was still under warranty so they replaced the unit no questions asked. Remains a great training tool. I would purchase this item again without hesitation.This collar is terrific! The price tag is steep on this collar but think of it as an investment. This is a terrific brand, very well made (a relative has been using a DT collar for 10 years) and they have wonderful warranties and customer service. The DT H20 1810 is all you need for training your dog. I use this collar on my American Bulldog (a very stubborn and pain tolerant breed) with AMAZING results. This collar is simple in design, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of more expensive models but it doesn't need them either. The transmitter and collar are both 100% waterproof and submersible! Just make sure the rubber plugs to the charging ports are sealed tightly. This collar means worry free handling of your dog or dogs. Amazing product, very very pleased.
