The only small negative is that where you "click" to turn on our off is a small square about the size of a half a pack of old school gum (think Wrigley's or something)...anyhow, it is in the sleeve of fabric but open on either side so it likes to slide out of it's casing. A little stitch on one side solves the issue though.
I will update again in 6 months about longevity and water resistance :)I really needed a light for my dog, for our late night walks, especially when it gets dark around 5pm this time of year. I was so excited to get this collar. The packaging was nice and the collar was bright. When I tried to put the collar on my dog it was way too small. There was less than a half inch of room to adjust the collar. I finally figured out how to make it fit, not looping the collar through the buckle twice but only once, and half way through my walk I realized it wasnt as bright. I saw that the battery pack was hanging barely off the collar. I shoved the light tube back in the battery pack and it lit back up bright. This happened over the next few days with less and less light each time. Finnally the lighting tube had been fully detatched from the battery pack, with a poor soldering job that did'nt hold, it is now useless. The paper that came with the collar said it can be taken back only if it's in brand new condition so it could be resold. This was a big waste of time and money. Im looking forward to finding one that works from another company.I can find my dog in the dark now! I have had it in constant use for a couple of months and it is still working fine. The on/off button is a bit hard to find.
