I bought this item for my male Golden Retriever who loves to go on trips with me in my car no matter how short the trip is. I have had this kind of product in my head since he had this new passion for riding cars because I noticed that he would end up in some uncompromising position whenever I'd step on the brakes. Then I finally found it in Amazon! What a treat!

I tried it this morning and was very satisfied that it made him safe for the car ride and at the same time, it gave him enough room to move about and look out the windows. I also felt more assured that even if I would leave the windows open, he won't be able to jump out of the car, just in case.

California law now requires that dogs be harnessed in the car. That is the reason I bought this, but it is actually working out very well. One thing I do like is the length, so they can actually move around a bit in the back seat. I love that they clip right into the seatbelt, very simple to use.

I got this safety belt for my daughters cute little dalmatian pup to make sure she stayed as safe as possible in the car on the way from MN to KY. It's also adjustable in length. I highly recommend that everyone buckle in their dogs for safey, and this is a great product to let you do that.

This definitely "fits" into the seat buckle, it just doesn't come back out. It was $60 to get it removed from my s40's seat. I can't say how well it works since I didn't actually get to use it. I can say, however, that it was REALLY secure in the buckle. I mean there was no getting that sucker out! As long as your dog doesn't like to chew through nylon straps and you never need to take it out of the buckle, you are set with this one.
