I have got a one-year-old Jack Russel, barked at everything, other dogs, squirrels, motorcycles, anyone walking in front of the house, anyone coming into the house. I've tried several no bark collars from different branded manufacturers. I really like this one best, It is easy to adjust and is rechargeable, its first level is vibration, then there are 6 levels shock stimulation. It has an extra function which the other brands have not, it can adjust sensitivity in 5 levels according to intensity of the dog barking, and it has Auto-Protection Mode, it will shut down for 1 minutes if dog keep howling 5 times continuously before the next correction. The collars are solidly constructed and fairly waterproof. We've been using level 3 and the collar works great. He does get zapped, maybe once a day, he is getting better every day, for now zero barking when people/dogs walk in front of the house!
I, like most people, that have bought shock collar has a dog with bark issues; especially when I'm not home. So I bought this collar because it is rechargeable and reasonably priced. When I got the collar I was a bit surprised on how difficult it was to center around my dogs neck. It was hard to center because the collar is really long, at least compared to my dogs neck size. It is a good idea to cut the collar for the dogs neck size. Make sure to leave space for the device!!! then place the device on afterwards. It takes a little trial and error to figure out where it will sit on your dogs neck, because each dog's neck is different. The collar itself appears to have a stronger shock than other collars I have used previously. My dog weighs 40 lb and I figured I'd start on five because that is where the previous shock collars sat. It was way too strong. I quickly rectified my assumptions and reduced the level to three. It was fine there, doesn't hurt him badly but strong enough to keep him quiet when he's outside. So if you have a dog with a lighter weight I highly suggest starting at level one or two and increasing as needed. The reason I have rated this product 5 stars is because even though it was difficult to set up, it is worth it. You only have to deal with it once (per collar) in any case.

This product works great. We use it on our sheltie just using test mode and vibration. She barks once and it is all over for a while. She seems to have a problem of going off the patio with it on, it's like she thinks the grass causes it to go off. The product was promptly shipped and is exactly as described. Would buy from this seller again.

Just put this on my 80-lb Doberman, and initially set it at level 2 (it goes all the way up to 7) and sent her out into the yard. WAY too big of a shock. When I finally got her back to me, I took the collar off and saw that it was set at 5. Now I'm a little concerned that the flimsy dial might accidentally get moved on its own. Be very careful when trying this out on your dog and DON'T leave her alone in the yard until you're sure it's working properly.

We've tried a few bark collars, and so far this one is working well. We have a very vocal chocolate Lab who drives our neighbors crazy. This collar has rechargeable batteries and is also waterproof. I don't recommend going any higher than a 3 with the settings though, it's just not necessary. I always try these on myself to ensure I'm not torturing my dog, and 3 is plenty.
