Very misleading. Picture of item shows it with a collar but when it was recieved there was no collar. Had to order collar separately from another vendor and ultimately paid more plus shipping. Unit works fine....my problem is not with Tri-tronics but with Amazon.

I have been using the Tri tronics with my dobie mix, Tego, who is uninclined to listen unless leashed, or wearing his receiver. We live close to open areas, i wanted him to be able to run without risks. Tri tronics gave us that chance. But i was reluctant using this product for Trixie who is only 20 pounds, and mostly a good listener, and Nita who is very shy. But, after trying the original one on them, i realized both responded well to the collar. We now have 2 collars, it is easy to control both dogs, and i use a dummy on Tego, and the real receivers with the girls. They all listen, they run freely, and they are safe. I am close enough to notice other uncontrolled dogs, cats, or trash all of which might have caused problems before. If your dogs are somewhat trained, and you read, watch the material that comes with the product, i think this is a much better device than using leashes. Dogs love running, and i love watching them run, without having to worry about the control issue.

When I saw the Tri-Tronics Expandable Receiver in Amazon Website, the picture show me it with the Collar Strap.

I bought it and when I received, it didn't come with the Collar Strap.

Why? I continue waiting the thing that I bought.

you have to read the reviews before purchase!!! if you are looking for an extra receiver don't buy this one. it doesn't have a collar on it. and buy a collar from amazon is 14.99! after I found out the problem I saw "Tri-Tronics Add A Collar EXP Receiver Dog Collar" it's 139.00. I wish amazon would let me exchange this product with the one that has a collar.
