Our very excitable lab mix puppy was absolutely impossible to walk on a leash . He pulled so hard that I was concerned for his neck/throat. He was injuring himself, and it took all of my strength to hold him...he chased everything he saw. Cars, people, other dogs...he acted very aggresive on the leash, jumping and lunging at children when they got off the bus. I was a my wits end, when a neighbor suggested the Gentle Leader. I immediately bought one, and it immediately and completely changed my dog's behavior the very first time I used it. He was calm, quiet, and was unble to pull me. He has walked nicely on the leash ever since...the best investment I could've made! I also use the Gentle Leader when company comes over. He usually gets very excited, and jumps on everyone who enters the house, and has scratched and knocked over friends and family on a few occasions. When I put the Gentle Leader on him before people walk in, he is calmer, does not jump, and remains generally submissive and much easier to control. The great thing about it is the fact that it is not a muzzle, he can breathe fine, eat, drink, and open his mouth to pant. i can't say enough about this terrific product! We are all so much happier since we discovered the Gentle Leader, (our dog included). This product is worth it's weight in gold!
