As many others have said, some dogs don't even need more than the vibrate option. Our 20 pound puppy kept darting out the house and into the street, for his safety I thought I would try this product. Week later: Great price, great product. Twice he has run out and twice as soon as we hit vibrate he comes back in the house asap. Amazing and kinda fun! I was hoping I wouldn't ever have to shock him, so far so good. But better a small shock than death by car, right?

I got this collar yesterday for my 15 week old Australian Shepard who will not stop biting or attacking my other dog I NEVER even need to shock him (was worried due to him being a puppy but I don't need to even shock him) he learned immediately the vibrate is strong and assertive and that gets his attention battery life is awesome I charge it every night and in one day of use he has turned from our demon puppy to our loving puppy it's amazing how well this works would recommend ten times over don't even consider listening to a one star review

This is an awesome product I have a chocolate lab/weimaraner who loves mischief. Started using this collar for behavior reinforcement I NEVER had to even shock the pup! All I had to do is hit the vibrate button and he would back away from whatever he had gotten into. I saw results day 1! I highly recommend!

We have a three year old Golden Doodle that is very excitable when we have company over and were looking for a effective training/corrective tool to control his behavior. We looked at several different collars and decided to go with this one based on all of the reviews. The first time we used the collar was when we had our parents over for dinner. We put the collar on about a half hour before they got there....he actually really likes the collar and does not associate it with being "buzzed". When they arrived he starting jumping so I simply used the vibration mode and he immediately stopped jumping and came over to me after I called him. We have used the collar several times since and he is making significant improvements in his behavior. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective corrective/training tool.

We have been using these collars for about a year for our two miniature schnauzers. We live across the street from an "off-leash" dog park, and see constant and often chaotic dog traffic go past our yard. Our dogs love to bark and nothing else we tried worked--and believe me we tried a lot of different things and were consistent. As a last resort we decided to try these because they offered a "vibrate" function. They work! In less than an hour using only "vibrate" our dogs were finally under control, and have been since we got the collars. I have had to use low shock setting rarely on our most stubborn dog. (We tried these on ourselves before putting them on the dogs and the low shock feels much like the static shock you get after walking across a carpet and touching metal.) We are happy and so are our neighbors!

Over the months we have had only a couple of minor issues (e.g., on one unit the charging jack broke). Customer service responded very promptly and we received a replacement part in record time. They are outstanding!
