My 10 week old Sheltie/Lab mix figured this out the first time we used it and it took her less than a minute to get all the treats out. My mom gave this to me thinking it would give me some peace and quiet when I'm trying to work from home, after previously using it often with her 1-year-old dog, who took quite awhile to figure it out. (Admittedly, her dog is a little "slow"... still can't figure out how to fetch or climb stairs at 2 years old, or maybe she's just not very motivated to do those things...)My puppy does seem to enjoy playing the game and gets very excited when I take it out, but she goes through it so fast that it really doesn't give me much of a break, since she wants me to refill it every couple minutes. Overall, it seems very sturdy, looks nice, and I like that it's made of wood instead of plastic. We will probably keep using it until I find a game that is a little more challenging for her.
