This product functions exactly how you would imagine, allowing you to couple two dogs (or other animals) together with ease. The quality of the material used in this item seems to be tough and durable granted I have only been using it for around a week now. I have (2) 50lb black lab / husky mix puppies who are not well trained and pull very intensely during walks. This item allows some of the pressure to be taken off of the leash as the dogs seem to tug against each other to compete for who will lead to some extent.
