Might be ok for small dogs, my boxers hardly flinched. They worked fine but don't have enough shock for a large dog.
I bought this not expecting much since it was so cheap but it works great and holds up well. I am very happy with it.

OK at best. Works intermittently. Goes through batteries often. Got a replacement and same results. Spend more $$ and get a better unit.

Works as a trainer for my two dogs. Would replace if needed. Easy to use and after a short time no zapping was needed just tone to remind my girls.
