Obedience Training is not only the right thing for your dog but also society at large. If you educate yourself using prong collars and also obedience training; then practice using the collar before you start training with your dog; you will not be performing a cruel act, you will be demonstrating that you are a responsible dog owner. Of course, if you don't know what you are doing with a prong collar; then who is being cruel?

I would like to leave a review after reading a review from someone who obiviously doesn't know anything at all about dog training. There are case studies done on dogs that have been trained on all collars and gentle leaders as well. What the case studies have shown is this: Dogs trained with a Choke chain do just that they choke the dog and after a dog was autopsied they found layers and layers upon layers of bruising from this chain as well as a dog that was trained on a regular leather collar. What they found with a case study after people used a gentle leader on a dog was problems with their necks and growths on the spinal cord where the dogs neck was injury from the pulling of the dog with the gentle leader and then lastly there is the Prong aka Pinch aka Medival Collar that when used properly gives the dog a pinch on his neck it does not stab the dog it simply gives the dog a corrective pinch like his or her mother would have done since the time of birth. If anyone was to agrue this point then I would have to say that you feel the same way about the dogs mother as you do this training device which proven by veternarians and is used by professionals everywhere as a safe very humane training device.

I WOULD NEVER USE ANOTHER TRAINING COLLAR AGAIN. WONDERFUL PRODUCT!
