This product is very effective for walking with a strong young dog. We have a one year old, 50 pound American Staffordshire mix with a tendency to pull its person in different directions during a walk. This harness helps him stay on course and seems to fit him well. While these batteries seemed to work ok, they are not Invisible Fence brand. I had trouble with one of my dogs' collars recently, and was told if I used any batteries other than the ones purchased directly from them, it would void all warranties. And some of these collars have a lifetime warranty, so it's definitely an issue.

Good batteries,shipped on time and fast. Much cheaper than at the invisible frnce store. Would use the again when I need batteries.

dog got out (first time that had veer happened) took collar off and tested it by walking towards fence, no beeping... replaced batteries and worked like it supposed to... Its just to bad the "real thing" is so stupid expensive...

I was very happy to find these grain-free, humanely-raised training treats for my dogs. They seemed expensive when I ordered them, but it turns out they have lasted such a long time, that I've decided they are actually more affordable than the other quality options I've tried. There are literally hundreds of treats per bag. This means they are tiny and lightweight, of course, but that's a _good_ thing in a training treat.

P.S. The dogs (an Aussie and a border collie) love 'em!

My dogs love these! Two of them are allergic almost everything; grains, cooked beef/lamb/chicken, and preservatives (especially soy). I only get 100% meat treats, either freeze-dried or dehydrated. These are great because I can carry around a bunch of them and they're already the perfect size for training, plus they weigh next to nothing. For three large dogs, I give out maybe 10-30 treats per day and this lasts me about a month. No strong odor, nothing that causes an allergic reaction have bought multiple times and will continue to buy.

I don't have to worry about my dog gaining weight, even with long daily training sessions, because these treats are very small and don't have anything in them but meat. But, even though they are small, my dog gets very motivated by them--apparently they are pretty tasty.

I use treats for obedience and agility classes. I need a treat that is not crunchy, but chewy and capable of breaking up into small bits. This product is already a perfect training treat size, so I do not have to spend time cutting the pieces into soy bean sized bits. Have yet to see them in action but I am sure my pup will love them.

PoochieBells "Mudslide Paw Prints" Dog Potty Training Doorbell Tool - Effective, Safe and Decorative

I used the bell training method 6 years ago when I got my bichon. It was very effective and she understood it right away. At that time I made my own hanging bells using a loud Christmas bell in a liberty bell shape at the end of a cord. I highly recommend the method.

After she was trained and had grown bigger, she gave the bell such a whack that it started to chip the paint on the door, so I replaced it with a Christmas door hanger with bells on the bottom just a bit larger than the Poochie Bells. That hanger started to show some wear so I decided to get the Poochie Bells since I thought the Mudslide print would go well with my color scheme. I expected the bells to be at least as loud as the Christmas door hanger.

The print is only on one side and , unfortunately, using the loop at the top which goes over the doorknob does not cause the ribbon to lay flat. I had to put a ribbon through that hanger and tie that to the doorknob in order to have the print side consistently show. That seems to be a design defect.

The major disappointment for me, though, is the volume of the bells. They are very soft. Fortunately, for me, my dog is so well trained, that if someone doesn't hear her ring the bell, she will go back and give it an even harder smack until she does get a response. For someone just training a dog by this method, I doubt that is likely to happen if they are in another room and don't hear the very soft jingle this bell makes.

I think it probably makes more sense to go to a craft store and get the ribbon pattern one desires and then to buy the a nice loud set of bells to attach. The whole point is being able to hear the signal that your dog wants to go out.

My dog does not like these, but one of my kittens sure loves them. This is the only treat that Jet loves, but neither his brother Ti nor his Rottweiler friend Ski is interested in. That makes training easier for me.

This might be just a little too sophisticated for my pup's taste. I think the quality is excellent and the amount is sufficient. It smells like a typical delicious lobster dinner!

He about gagged and wouldn't touch another one again. They did have a strange smell to them and were very powdery and crumbly. What a waste.

Pet Buddies PB1712 Googlie Sammie Squirrel Medium Toy

I think we own 5 or 10 of these "Googlies" by now and we love them (Oh, and so does the dog!). They keep Duke entertained for hours on end because of the unique shapes and the squeaking, I think. Canine Equipment Technika 1-Inch Webbing Martingale Dog Collar, Medium, Black

When we adopted our super-fluffy mutt, his foster mom referred to him as "Mr. No Neck" and suggested we use a Martingale collar. This one is much better than the Premier collar he came to us with. It's thicker, so I feel like it's less likely to choke him or cause tracheal damage, and the material is much finer and better quality. He's worn it for over 6 months now and it still looks brand new; no wear or fraying at all. The only thing that bothers me is that there's no place to attach the tags to keep them hanging straight down. If you put them on the second metal loop, they shift way off to the side once a leash is attached. I wound up attaching them to the plastic slider piece that keeps the doubled-up nylon together, and his tags still hang lopsided, just not quite is much. I wish there was a way to evenly space the leash loop and the tags.

This collar to me looks like a very good quality collar. I am using it for my greyhound which as many of you know their head is shaped so a regular collar they would just slip out of. I was very impressed with the texture of this collar, it feels like a rubbery type material that I feel should last a very long time. I am very happy with this product.

Canine Equipment Technika Martingale collar is excellent for loose leash walking training and for dogs prone to startle. My dog is easy to startle and the martingale prevents her from backing out of her collar and running off. It is built well with high grade webbing and hardware. I prefer the fabric to the the chain martingales and recommend this collar for anyone training a new dog. It should be worn high on the neck, behind the ears for the most best results.
