We got this for our new lab puppy. He was 11 weeks old at the time. When we would call him in from the back yard he would ignore us as he chose to stay and chew on sticks, leaves and whatever else caught his attention. Having the choice of two sizes for the pins helped a lot, as the shorter ones were ineffective until he grew more into the collar. Being able to charge both the remote and the collar piece is awesome! We have only had to recharge twice in about a month. We love the feature of both the collar and the remote automatically shutting off if they aren't 'moving' to save on the battery. Having the option of shock, vibration or beeps is great but we found we had to go to the shock and it only took once! Now he comes right in with or without the collar on. The range of 1-100 gives a lot of room to use the least amount of pressure. Great experience and very effective for us and the pup.

Can't believe how good it works. I have a Pitbull, Boxer mix and got him at 6 months and had him 8 months. I tried everything gental leader collar dog whisperer stuff and my own methods and I had dogs my whole life I'm 54. First problem, the collar does not tighten enough to have skin contact for our 18 lb dog. I wish they had a size listed in the description, which would have saved us the hassle. Secondly, the remote turns itself off after two minutes, and you have to hold a button down for 5 seconds to turn it back on. If you are planning to leave the collar on for immediate correction to ongoing behaviors, you will be delayed by the additional 5 seconds of having to turn the remote back on. Finally, the remote seemed to have a short or poor connection when charging. It had to be in the perfect position to allow charging, and I am not sure how long it would have lasted if it was already causing trouble fresh out of the box. Unfortunately, this will be going back.

I have used this with my dog who was getting too smart for his own good. He would basically stay at a the edge of my fence and bark and bark, despite us yelling, calling, begging, and threatening. He wouldn't come when told and would chase after other dogs at the wrong times.

After getting this collar on him, he is a totally different dog. I got my first compliment yesterday about how well he minds.

I like the collar because it doesn't hurt him unless he is totally out of control. And eventhen, you can set it to be a mild "zap". It has 100 levels. So he gets a short, light "poke" and then turns right around and comes back.

After having this for a week, he responds now to the "buzzing" setting which is vibration only. I can't believe I waited this long to get this. It produced a miracle in our dog in 1 week. His entire demeanor went from out of control puppy to super mature dog in literally 1 week.

Update: So after about 2 1/2 months this collar unit is totally destroyed just from normal use. The tabs that hold it on broke off, so I taped it to the collar, and now the unit is KO'd.

So in short, this thing kicked the bucket a little fast. I talked to teh seller, who sent me a replacment for free. My dog then goes swimming with said collar, which apparently wasn't as waterproof as they say. The electronic charge port is plugged by these two rubber gaskets. If these don't seat just right, water gets in and destroys your unit. Anyways, my replacement is dead. I'm bummed about that..........

What can I say? It does the job. My dog was having some really bad behaviors that we could not get under control. I was concerned about having to shock her, but I found out that I do not have to. It has a vibration mode that our dog responds to. Like the shock mode, the vibration mode has settings from 0 to 100. We only have to use 30. There are a couple of times we had to use the shock settings to correct some aggressive behavior, but we only had to use 20 for the shock level. I was curious as to what this felt like, so I held the ends while my wife activated the unit. It did not hurt but gave me a start. So, I do not feel guilty having to use it.

My daughter has a large breed dog and they are both staying with us this week. Her dog is a puppy and very out of control. He would take any opportunity to run out of the garage and down the street. We tried the unit on him and he is doing so much better.

The unit is not the best quality, like others have mentioned, but the price is right and it works. I would take off a star if this were a more expensive unit.

The one thing I wish I had done is buy the one with two collars (same manufacture). It only costs 4 dollars more. This would have been perfect when my daughter visits. You see, the remote can control two collars since it has the option to switch between channels 1 and 2.

The Lixit faucet dog waterer is a tough, reliable product that works as advertised. You attach the Lixit to an outside hose faucet, and turn on the faucet. The dog licks the control lever on the Lixit, and water momentarily flows down around the lever. The dog quickly gets the idea and repeatedly licks the lever, causing a slow, continuous flow of water, which stops when the dog stops licking.

The only problems I've ever seen with the Lixit are that it does sometimes leak a little (but since it is for outside use, this isn't a big deal), and that if it is attached to a faucet that is in the sun, the metal parts can get pretty hot. Other than that, it just works.

I've had several of these over the years. They work great but eventually they wear out. Make sure to check them cause if they aren't working it could be a real bad situation for your dog. I find that after a few years they start to leak and also hard water deposits will clog them.

However, unless the lixit is at an almost perfectly vertical (right) angle to the ground, it will not completely shut off, but continue to drip or dribble with a heavier flow the farther it is from vertical.

First Impression: At first I didn't know what Dad wanted me to do with the Lixit Dog Waterer. But after Dad showed me a couple times, I caught on very quickly. The instructions say you can put peanut butter on the lever, but Dad just pushed it with his finger. Also, he showed me that I can press my nose on the Lixit to make water come out. Fascinating!

Conclusion: Dad says it's well worth the money! He never has to worry about a water bowl outside. When I play outside and get thirsty, I use the Dog Waterer. I lick it and it gives me fresh water. It hasn't leaked so far. I now think that Mom's bath faucet will turn on if I lick it for long enough. The Dog Waterer was very inexpensive and is recommended for all outdoor dogs, or even dogs that just go outside when they have to (like me).

I ordered two auto dog waterers. I was unable to get either one to install without leaking continuously. I finally took out the hard plastic washers and installed good rubber washers to prevent them from leaking when not being activated.

Lixit needs to improve their quality control.

My dogs are a 45-lb boxer mix and a 35-lb mystery mix. They're both medium-sized, with the heavier one being 3-4" taller. The coupler arrived unexpectedly fast; a day before the delivery estimate in fact! So we gave it a test run. I wasn't sure if the 24" length on each side would be too long, but it was great...the longer length allows you to keep the leashes above the dogs' heads which prevents tangling. No stopping to lift up front legs because of leashes caught underneath. And not once did I do a spin to get unwrapped from a leash around my waist or a high step over one around my leg! The dogs were far enough apart so that one couldn't yank the other around, which is something I encountered years ago when I tried out a much shorter coupler. I also felt more in control; my dogs walk pretty well on leash but every so often a dog or squirrel will grab their attention and they will forget their manners and pull. That didn't happen today, but I can tell that correcting them will be a lot easier with the coupler and a single leash rather than trying to correct two excited dogs on two separate leashes. As I was researching couplers, I noticed others saying they could be too heavy for smaller dogs. I don't think that would be the case with this one because it's very light. It's definitely worth a shot if you're on the fence, and I recommend going for a longer length instead of shorter if you're unsure about what size to get. It's awesome to get a well-made, useful product for under 8 bucks, with super fast free shipping besides. Five stars!

I purchased a different coupler before this one, and I must say this one is a much better design. I like how the two leashes are permanent to the o-ring. The other coupler I purchased had an adjustable clip, and the clip would always slip making one side longer than the other so one dog had 3 feet and the other only a few inches. This works great for two very different size dogs. I use it for my 50# Chow Chow and my 25# Dachshund, and I attach it to a retractable leash. It worked greatno tangles and the leash held them both no problem. It seems to be well made. Great purchasevery happy.

Works as promised. Very heavy duty. Doesn't appear to be heavy duty. The straps are not the size of car safety belts and the buckles are not the size of vehicle toe clips, but this is a VERY heavy duty item that will last and will hold any breed dog. Strong enough for bigger breeds and small enough for the little ones. Clip one leash and able to control (or try to control) two dogs at once. I have two shepherds, so I try. Mostly they just trot along together and it is long enough to give each dog their distance. Great product.

Great quality and good heavy duty clips but not too heavy for my 20 lbs dogs. One love to pull, the other is a gentlemen: With being able to use just one leash, I was able to control his side of the coupler with one hand so he had to was alongside and not out in front. Although it is said there should only be enough room for one dog of the same size between the two dogs on the coupler, the longer length gave my gentlemen the ability to get around the bully easily and take his own walk, while the other had to mind his manners. Definitely happy with the purchase and the quality.

We have two small dogs and I thought the coupler would make it easier than trying to balance two seperate handles.Well, one dog is stronger than the other and drags her little partner every which way to sunday. These treats are small but they are great. They don't have that weird fake meat scent but my dogs still love them and so do I because I don't get that gross smell on my hands every time I give them a treat! The ingredients are simple and healthy and I don't feel guilty giving my dog a bunch of them. Great product.

Very cute but misleading in sizes. I have two healthy beagles and the medium was far too small...nearly half the size of a size large.

I have a little Pekingese who is hard to fit due to a wide chest. This fit him perfectly and the Velcro fastenings are convenient. The lack of sleeves is a plus since his stubby little legs often get caught up in them when he walks. The quality was decent for the price though I haven't washed it yet. I will probably order another one soon.

I LOVE this collar. I recently adopted a lab mix (we think she may also be boxer, or pointer?) from the pound who is just under a year old and pulls A LOT on walks with both a normal collar and a harness. I was worried about taking her on walks because she would be choking herself the whole time and would be gasping for air. Anyway, after ordering this for her I took her on a walk and was super impressed with the results. When i first put it on I was concerned with how tight it is supposed to be, I felt like it was trying to strangle her but she didnt seem to mind too much. Once we started walking was when she noticed it was on her, after about 3 minutes of her trying to get out of the headcollar she began walking normal with no pull and no choking/gasping for air. I thought that was pretty impressive. She also tried to bark at another dog and while this headcollar didn't discourage her necessarily, it did muffle the sound immensely. I'm super happy that I can take her on walks with my other dog more often now.

These really work if they are fitted properly and locked down tight with the adjustable clamps. But that fit is difficult to do with wriggling dogs.
