Premier Spray Sentry Kit

Premier Spray Sentry KitThis item does not work very well. It is very sensitive with no way to adjust the sensor. I called the company's customer service and they informed me that this item had been discontinued quite awhile ago, and therefore they could not give me customer service.

I do not think Amazon should be selling discontinued products without at least informing the buyer.

Mike.

I am very unsatisfied after using this product only 6 weeks. Upon opening it I saw it was made with cheap plastic, but at first it worked fine, and the spray REALLY deterred the cats off the counter. Now the sprayer part of the mechanism is completely non-functional, even with a fresh new can. Yesterday the ring that holds the product onto the can split and broke off. So, all I bought is a sad tattling beeper that tells me those cats are back on the counters.

This works great!!. You have to be creative don't just sit it at the place you want to protect. Animals like to take the same path to places so hide it in directline to their route. When they catch a shot in the face without warning it makes them think twice about going that way. Remember to move it around so they don't get used to it. This prodect will fit other spray cans like a computer air can or air freshener. Just don't use something sticky or dangerous. It is very easy to set up. just clip it to the can and set the range. It takes a few minutes for it to start working. After a few minutes give it a try by walking in front of it.

After a year of trying to train my indoor cat not to jump on the kitchen counters I ran across this device. It worked great after only two weeks! Before I'd have to listen for the noise she made trying to get the lids off the pots. Then I chase her with a super soaker water gun but it became a game to her. Got this device and each time it went off I'd hear her immediately thump off the counter onto the floor. The beep noise scared the bjesus out of her. Now I only use the top part without the spray and it has the same effect. I would highly recommend it to indoor cat owners. 5-star.

Spray Sentry does not seem consistent. Sometimes it won't go off. Other times it gets in a loop and keeps going off when there is no target. It did that when no one was in the room and exhausted the can of spray. Further, the spray is not vigorous enough, and does not hiss loudly enough, to frighten our cats very much. We also bought an sssCat that only sprays and does not have a horn. That works well and sprays vigorously, although there does not seem to be 200 sprays in the can, more like 100 or less. Still, it's better than having a little fur person peeing on the stove or taking a dump in the corner of the living room. From what I can gather, both Spray Sentry and sssCat keep changing models and discontinuing the old ones, sometimes offering both a spray and a horn, and sometimes just the spray. I also heard that they are the same company, but according to the labels they don't seem to be. Anyway, we find that the sssCat model without a horn is reliable and effective and, unlike Spray Sentry, does not have such a long range that you have to mask the lens. Thumbs up on sssCat; thumbs down on Spray Sentry.

No Bark Dog Training Collar

No Bark Dog Training CollarWe have a Pit bull/ boxer mix, she is a very hyper puppy who barks at anything and everything. She was driving me and the whole neighborhood crazy. As soon as I got this collar I put it on her. She didn't know where the noise came from at first. But it did not take her long to realize, that when she barked it came from her collar, within a weeks time perhaps not even that long, she no longer was barking at every little noise. I then took it off of her for well over a week.. And when she started to get into the routine of barking again, well the collar went back on. She is a much quieter puppy. And the neighborhood does not have to hear her all day long. I did not want to keep it on her for a much longer period because I do want her to bark at certain things. And she honestly has learned, within a two week time frame that there is a reason for a bark, and a reason not to just bark at any little noise or the wind blowing the wrong way. I would highly suggest this collar for dogs who bark for no reason what so ever.

This product worked great for a day or two then we had to replace the battery. I have had it two weeks and have put four batteries in it, I put a new one in lastnight and it stopped working this morning. I wouldn't recommend this product if you have a persistant dog. The instuctions say the batteries last months this is not true! On the bright side it is cheaper than most but I guess you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend this product for 2 reasons. When I recieved the product it did not come with directions. After calling customer service I was told that the directions would be sent to me via e-mail and I recieved was a return policy. The batteries that came with the collar went dead after less than a week. I bought new batteries and they lasted less than a week. I spoke with customer service about this and was told that they would send me detailed directions on using the collar which would save battery life. I have not received directions. Not impressed.

The collar go though batteries like crazy and did not work for my dog. I would not recommend this collar unless you have a very timid dog. also the prongs are very long.

the product does work as advertised. the only problem is i have small dogs and one of them has a very high pitched bark and the collar does not always pick up his bark. other than that the collar works great on my other dog.

TaoTronics TT-PT11 Wireless Pet Containment System with 50m 10 Levels Adjustable range, 3 correction

TaoTronics TT-PT11 Wireless Pet Containment System with 50m 10 Levels Adjustable range, 3 correction modes with Beep, Vibrate, Shock for 1 Dog/CatThe signal seems to be affected negatively by walls. My biggest complaint is that if you unplug the device the unit starts shocking. So if my dog is home alone and I lose power my dog will be subjected to hours of shocking. It has rendered the unit useless to me unless I am home with the dog. I only need it when I am away so she can stay outside.

Dean and Tyler Wire Basket Muzzle, Size No. R1 - Small Rottweiler

Dean and Tyler Wire Basket Muzzle, Size No. R1 - Small RottweilerThis muzzle was a Godsend. I am so glad that I found it on Amazon. I do not like to muzzle, cage or restrain my Chow Chows other than a well fenced property line, but I had to take action to stop the fighting. I brought a new puppy to the house and my jealous female would not stop attacking him. The puppy made every effort to show submission, but the female would just not tolerate him. I have owned Chow Chows for 30 years and had never had to deal with so much hostility. The Dean & Tyler Muzzle is the only one that my "houdini" female could not readily pull off. This muzzle got me through the training period and now my dogs seem to be getting along fine. My female soon realized that every time she got out of line, she got the muzzle. This muzzle worked better than anything else I tried for curing the personality conflits.

This muzzle really works. The dog seems comfortable with it. Have to be a bit careful so that you don't get whacked with it if you have a big headed dog. It's sturdy. It is important to follow directions to measure your dog carefully and order the exact right fit. Our vet was pleased as well. Thanks.

I love this wire dog muzzle to train an unruly large dog who is hard to control. This product keeps all living creatures free from harm, to make training the animal much easier. The dog figures out how to drink and play with it on. I will not trade this muzzle, or the wonderful rescue dog, it helped to create, for anything.

Coastal Pet Halti Headcollar in Size 3

Coastal Pet Halti Headcollar in Size 3I just got my Halti today. I've already taken my one year old pit bull Toby for a walk with it. I much prefer it to a choke chain, because it helps to lessen my stress and tension during the walk. I'm not constantly yanking and jerking, which raises his level of excitementwith the Halti, a gentle tug does the trick. I had used a Gentle Leader head collar before (with another dog), but found that to be troublesome with fitting, and it didn't seem to be very comfortable for the dog. So far, I am very pleased with this, and am confident it will help me move forward with Toby's training.

XX Large Soft Claws for Dogs (Natural, 14 mm length x 9 mm width)

XX Large Soft Claws for DogsI have to agree with the other reviewthey are a bit like tap shoes. However I didn't get the these for noise reduction or more traction for my 55 pound 6 month old yellow lab/Shepard mix I got them for protection for my wood floors and leather furniture (as well as me while we banish the jumping problem!). They aren't staying on as well as my first trial with them but I think that's because I have the size too small (the chart is accurate, I just misjudged). The fronts are falling off even with super glue! So like I said I think it's the size-I think it's better to go a little bigger then too small. They have done great at protecting both the floor and furniture (and me!). I've also used the pedi-paw with success but you do have to do it just about weekly and it's a little time consuming. These I put on and hope they all fall off by their next nail clipping 5-6 weeks later!

We have a Standard Poodle, around 45 lbs. He has been slipping around on the wood floor, causing scratches. First we tried buying dog shoes. Bought 2 different brands of high quality, very comfy boots...at $50+/pair. While this did help with traction, he completely "shuts down" when they get put on. He won't sit or lay down. Just stands up till he is exhausted and starts to fall down. We thought he would get over it, but after 4 months of catching him "fainting" and having to physically stretch his legs out and make him lay down... we decided to try the nail cap option.

We bought xx large. First I ground his nails down. Put 3 drops of the glue in the nail cap, squeezed it to make it more circular, and slipped it right on. He didn't even notice. Every 4 or 5 days I will notice one is missing. I just grind that nail down and apply another. So, I never actually remove them all and apply a new set. When they get too worn, they naturally just fall off. I just used up the last couple nails, and it has been about 14 weeks. Very acceptable.

The scratching on the floor is sufficiently reduced. If he gets real wild, they will still scratchat which time we show him his old boots and he bolts for the kennel :) But for general "trotting" around, there is no scratching, as they are much softer than nails. These caps obviously don't aid in traction. But...huge help in the scratches. A fair compromise between me and the Poodle!

I actually bought them because my dog has hip displasia and she was slipping on wood floor which is not good for her. Since she has them on she does not slip as bad on the floor. It's great! I also found a better way to put them on without using any glue. Got one size smaller, soak them in boiling water for just 10 or 20 seconds, they get very soft and slide right on the nails, took me 2 minutes to do all 4 paws. When they cool they hold very strongly. Just a tip

I have a 65 pound boxer and we just got new hardwood floors. He loves to play inside and we cant break him from this habit, since we have let him do it for 3 years. We bought the soft claws for dogs, and glued them on. They are fantastic!!! Yes, they do come off or wear off, but his has lasted for over a month. He sometimes does wear them down where they will get holes, but his nails do not come thru and the wood looks great. He is very tolerant of them, and I think most dogs would allow you to put them on, just like a bath. Very simple! If the soft claws do not wear off after awhile, we clip them off and put new ones on. Do go by the size chart, because my first pair ordered was too small. Great purchase!!!

Want XX Large Soft Claws for Dogs (Natural, 14 mm length x 9 mm width) Discount?

I have a Labrador and wood floors and the soft claws do not improve the relationship. It has been a bit like tap shoes for a child at Christmas.

The claw guards went on fine and have stayed on (I was rather hoping that they would fall off, I am going to find out today how to take them off).

The plastic of the claw guard is softer than keratin of claws and without sharp edges so if scratching was the primary issue it might be a help.

However putting a cap on anything is going to make it longer and for these it is a minimum of 4 mm. Immediately Abby made more noise on the floor and I think she was also getting even less traction on the floor than before. The Soft Claws were just not soft enough to be helpful. She sounds like a walking snare drum.

The best answer is going to be weekly nail sanding.

Abby did get 2 complements on how good her nails looked including "you've had Abby's claws done" ie it look almost natural. (The ones I got were NOT purple.)

Martingale and Basic Dog Collar All-in-one - Lawn Green - MediumI wanted a color out of the norm but I also wanted a martingale style. I searched the web and the stores. I was looking through Amazon when I found this great color for my Black Lab. It looks beautiful on her. The collar is very well made and fits her perfectly. She has gotten it wet, we have used it for walks and it still looks new. The shipping was quick. I am very happy with the collar and I love the color.

Whole Life Pet Products Pure Meat All Natural Freeze Dried Beef Liver Treats for Dogs, 4-Ounce

Whole Life Pet Products Pure Meat All Natural Freeze Dried Beef Liver Treats for Dogs, 4-OunceThese are great because they have ONE ingredient; beef liver. That's it. Also, they are made in the US so I feel comfortable knowing that they are safe to give my dogs. And my dogs love them! One downside is that since they are freeze-dried, there are powdery crumbs that kind of coat all of the treats. If you've ever had that freeze-dried astronaut ice cream, you know what I'm talking about. Having beef liver "powder" on my fingers is a little unpleasant so I removed a star. Otherwise, I'm happy with these and so are my dogs.

Oh, and they give you a lot in the bag. Bag is resealable.

Dog like it and its a very healthy treat. I don't buy garbage treats filled with preservatives and artificial junk so this is a good price for a healthy snack!

PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Diva Dog Pink and Silver Design

PoochieBells The Trusted Name in Dog Training Doorbells in Classic Diva Dog Pink and Silver DesignSo, we have a 2 pound Maltese. She is scared to walk across the tile to the door, and even if she would scratch, we couldn't hear it. We bought this about a month ago. We started by taking her to the bells, and using her paw or her nose to get her to ring the bell. Then we'd say "Outside". After a while, we would just lead her to the bell (which is on the wall before the tile) and say "Ring the bell to go OUTSIDE". We emphasized the word outside. We would ring the bell, then tap the wall next to the bell until she nudged it with her nose. Then we started asking "Do you need to go outside?" And she would run to the bell and give it a nudge with her nose. Now, about 50% of the time, when she wants to go outside, even just to play, she gives it a little nudge with her nose. We can also get her to go outside by ringing the bell ourselves. She's still learning, but she definitely associates the bell with going out. You just need to be consistent and PATIENT! It won't happen overnight. Like I said, it's been a month for us, and we are still not all the way there, but we have high hopes. It takes different time for different dogs, just don't give up!

Our puppy learned how to ring the bells and no more accidents in the house. Well made and cute. She is such a diva

Weiss Walkie No Pull Dog Leash

Weiss Walkie No Pull Dog Leash, Large, BlackWe use these to walk difficult dogs at the Animal Shelter I volunteer at and they are great. Keeps the dogs from biting and pulling at the leash and makes it easier to contol larger, stronger dogs.

I donated one small and one large leash to one of the local animal rescue organizations. They swear by this brand. Easy to use, and easy to control the animal. The variety of temperments in a shelter is wide, and these leashes seem to work for all.

Buy Weiss Walkie No Pull Dog Leash Now

I saw this leash being used by a local animal shelter. I have a 10 pound Maltese and 12 pound Bichon who both pull. Their harnesses cause matting in their hair so I was very interested in trying this out since it just uses a regular collar. It is fairly easy to get on and does work very well to control pulling. The only down side is that it isn't very long. I would guess it works for taller dogs but for small dogs like mine, it makes it hard for them to get off the sidewalk to do their business. Otherwise, they walk very well and it is very easy to make corrections when they start to bark.

My 75# dog continually tries to walk ahead of me and keeps pulling. I walk her daily and have been using a pronged chain collar so I thought I would try the Weiss Walkie after hearing it helps keep dogs from pulling. It was the same tugging and pulling only I had less control when other dogs came past etc. The rounded rope was hard for me to hang on to and way too long for walking my dog. Perhaps it would work on a young pup from the start, but it just didn't work for me.

Works well on my Golden Retrievers 70 to 80 pounds ..would recommend it to anyone who has a dog that pulls :)

Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover

Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover, 32-OunceThis stuff is so awesome! I wound up with quite the large puppy. She was house broken but only if she had constant access to a yard. We didn't. Needless to say she soiled everywhere. I used puppy training pads to soak it up (ironic). Once the liquid was absorbed into the pad, I just sprayed this on the stain, let it sit for about 15 minutes, gave it a quick wipe and stain and odor were GONE! I mean it, there is no stain and no odor left anywhere. You can't even tell where they were and there were ALOT. It's an amazing product and works better than I ever expected.

There are many products that claim to work on the same enzymatic principle as Nature's Miracle, but none work as well (and sadly some don't work at all). This product is a must for cleaning up any accidents.

This is NOT a spray-and-wipe type cleaner. In order for it to work, you have to follow the directions and let it sit for a while. I've had the best luck covering with a warm damp towel while the enzymes do their thing.

Buy Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover Now

I purchased a gallon of this stuff upon a recommendation from a pet store employee. Sure enough when my puppy had his first accident I ran for the Nature's Miracle.

It helped but it didn't solve the problem. In fact, it made the stain yellow and it smelled like a bottle of rubbing alcohol. This happened time and again with future stains.

Out of frustration I went back to the pet store and purchaed their second best seller, Simple Solution. That actually worked and it even removed the yellowing that Nature's Miracle caused.

The Simple Solution was less expensive, smelled better and most importantly it worked! Nature's Miracle doesn't live up to its name.

I finally gave in to my wife and kids and we got a new puppy. While superficially she looks adorable, in-depth ethnographic observation of the animal reveals that she is, in fact, an abomination released upon unsuspecting humanity, and possibly a harbinger of Doom. The wretched animal is peeing prodigiously all over my house and guess who has to clean it up. It's funny how before we got the hound my wife and kids solemnly vowed to take care of "the sweet new addition to our family" in "every possible way" including thoroughly decontaminating the site where the dog might have "the occasional accident" prior to being fully housetrained. And yet at the first sight of elimination my wife and kids act suspiciously busy and try their darnedest to teleport to a galaxy as far far away from the offending puddle as possible. So I am left holding the bag, literally speaking, and have been involuntarily and reluctantly pressed into service as an unwilling janitor (the term 'shanghaing' is defined as "the practice of conscripting men by coercive techniques such as trickery, intimidation, or violence" and describes my current situation perfectly).

The good news is that Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover works as advertised, particularly on carpeted surfaces (it's not recommended for wood or tile floors). The bad news is that even after you are done following the instructions, if you illuminate the contaminated site with a UV flashlight you can clearly see the fluorescent evidence of the atrocity committed by the canine perpetrator.

So now my life is like a TV episode: the dog urinates, and I descend upon the area like a cross between the janitor in "Scrubs" and a male version of Pauley Perrette from "NCIS", illuminating incriminating forensic evidence with my 395 nM UV Ultra Violet 21 LED Blacklight Flashlight, by LEDwholesalers 7305UV395 and subsequently, gloved and hazmat-suited, I liberally douse the afflicted area with Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor Remover, 32-Ounce until the crime scene is forensically clean. And then of course I rinse and repeat. Over and over again. Probably until the end of time.

My humble suggestion to you based on my own poignant personal experience: if you are thinking about a pet, get Kinectimals for your Xbox 360. Your house will thank you.

There was a terrible smell coming out of the grout in our bathroom. We tried tons of cleaning supplies to no avail and started to think that the grout had to be removed and redone.

However, Through the internet, we heard about Natures Miracle. I have to say, it truly is a Miracle. We focused on the grout only, scrubbed it with Natures Miracle, let it sit overnight and Voila.

The smell dissappeared. I'm so glad we found out about this product. I would recomend it to everyone.

Qpets 4 in 1 Training Shock Collar for 1 soprt dog 1000m range

Qpets 4 in 1 Training Shock Collar for 1 soprt dog 1000m rangeI had purchased a more expensive training collar from a chain pet store after attending obedience training classes which had not corrected all of his bad behavior. The remote stopped working in less than 3 months and I wasted money on expensive batteries. This one works much, much better and at half the price. I have rarely had to use the static shock feature as the vibration and/or the beeping does the trick every time! I wish I had known about this product from the very beginning when I rescued my dog in July 2012. He and I are very happy together now!
