Tri-Tronics Bark Limiter with Strap
Large Martingale Pink Paisley Patterened Dog Collar
The design helps cover any miscellanies dirt (she naps on the back step so there is always dirt).
Figgy isn't "light on the leash" and we've been impressed at how sturdy this has been! She even gets compliments :)
Yes that's MRS. Figg thank you very much! (and yesshe adores cats!!!)
Five Stars -
* Appearance looks great after over a month of real world use
* Craft well built with clean edges
* Durability sturdy without looking like it's for a horse (which it sort of is)
* Sizing fits a mid-sized Neo Mastiff with plenty of room for a larger dog.
* Price can't beat the price! What a great deal!I ordered this collar for my boxer she is big so I ordered large. I had to tighten it up all the way but it fits her nicely( I should of got Medium) but the collar is so pretty and I love the way it tightens when she pulls. Great Collar and totally worth the money. You will not be disappointed. Just make sure you get the sizing right

The collar is bright and attractive but a little thinner than I expected. It is less dense than you would expect. That is actually good for summer, though!Read Best Reviews of Large Martingale Pink Paisley Patterened Dog Collar Here
Its a nice collar, but the colors were lighter than I anticipated, more of a light cotton candy and fuchsia, and the green was more of a pastel green. I got it to be a dressy evening collar for my male pit mix, but will probably use it for my female collie mix instead.Want Large Martingale Pink Paisley Patterened Dog Collar Discount?
I bought this collar almost a year and half ago for my Pit Bull. She's a little princess, so I wanted to get something that would match her personality. I have always bought martin gale no slip collars for nearly 10 years, and I will never use a regular collar again. They can be used for daily use rather than just training purposes, and you don't have to worry about your dog choking themselves on these like the metal choke collars.Reflective Dog Collar

400 Yard Remote 1-Dog Training Waterproof Shock Collar Model GT-211 350S
this remote and collar does not require you to purchase batteries of any kind. both collar and remote are rechargeable. product has a shock feature from 1-10. i shocked myself at level 3 and it is plenty to correct a dogs bad behavior with appropriate action from owner. product works right out the box which is nice. battery time is best suited for all day with moderate to low need. if you need to make high to extreme behavior correction, using the product constantly throughout the day, batter time may be an issue. after the initial "correction" my dogs straighten their act quickly and have not needed to use no more than 3 times since then. i refer this product and this seller.
side note. beeping tone and vibration had no effect "distracting" on my dogs.for about a day the collar actually worked, however we immediately noticed the collar was weak. even on its highest setting it had little affect on our dog. then the collar wouldnt hold a charge and the remote would freeze. the screen would light up with nothing displayed. we had to wait for it to die before we could use it again. we returned it and whenever we get refunded our money we will be purchasing a name brand product.

This collar really is a good buy for the money. I knew there would be at least one drawback. And that is that the battery that comes with it lasted us about 10 days. My husband went to get a replacement battery for it and it was $20! Four times the cost of the collar. Luckily we found a cheaper battery available online OR at walgreens and we are back in action! The only thing I don't like about the colar itself is it "beeps" when my other dog barks or when my neighbor dog barks. Doesn't shock him, but sends the warning signal. These are such a good price my neighbor gave me money to buy his dog one and needless to say I DID. IMMEDIATELY! Now, neither my dog nor the neighbor dog will wake up my sleeping baby! YEEESS!Read Best Reviews of Electronic Anti-Bark Dog Training Shock Collar No Bark Here
I bought this for my hunting dog who was raised with a bark collar but when it died and was not replaced, he started barking again. We got this collar as a quick fix to cure the bad habit. However, when we first put it on him he still continued to bark. At first it looked like the collar was a dud or that it just wasnt strong enough. Then, 30-40 seconds AFTER he had barked, it shocked him so hard and for such a long time that he literally screamed and urinated on the carpet. It looked like his entire body was convulsing on the floor. We were so scared that it was killing him. Keep in mind that this is not a purse dog. This one-size-fits-all collar caused a 65 lb full grown lab, who has been trained with hunting shock collars, training choke collars, and bark collars to scream and convulse. I will never recommend this to anyone and will in fact discourage them from buying this collar. There is a reason its so cheap. Dont buy it.Electronic Anti-Bark Dog Training Shock Collar No BarkWant Electronic Anti-Bark Dog Training Shock Collar No Bark Discount?
I was really surprised, considering how inexpensive this dog collar is, but after buying about 5 other types of different dog collars (spending close to $300 in all), this is the ONLY one that works for my dog. The other expensive hi-tech collars I wasted money on are all stuffed away in a drawer.Red Dingo Designer Martingale Dog Collar, Medium
Love itIf your dog is like one of mine and can slip out of every harness and buckle type collar on the market so quick that Houdini would have been asking him for pointers, get this collar!!! I am very happy with it but more important is that he likes it!!! He wore a breathable mass marketed harness for years and he knew exactly how to wiggle his elbow under the chest strap and then it was just a matter of backing out enough to get it over his head. I have tried every buckle type collar and slip lead and he either breaks out or plants his butt on the ground and refuses to be moved. So I bought another collar. This one doesn't have a buckle, you have to adjust it right and it took a few tries to be honest. But once adjusted it slips over their head and then you simply cinch it up a bit and snap the lead/leash on it. I have other dogs in the house though and simply pull his on and off with every trip and it stays clipped to the leash. I was afraid that the other dogs might give it a yank while playing and accidentally choke him. He sits patiently, well as patiently as a dog can wait while wiggling his whole body, while I slip this over his head. The color is very nice and it is made of a heavy material and seems very well made. I inspected it carefully when it arrived and found no loose strings or threads. The D rings are very sturdy and metal of some kind and seem like they can take a beating. He has tried to slip out of this but so far has not figured out the mechanics necessary to do it. This collar tightens up enough when they pull on the lead/leash, but not enough to hurt them. Mine is a very aggressive puller but has never coughed, gagged, pseudo-vomitted or anything else while wearing it. He likes it and I feel comfortable walking him in it. And the color looks cute against his hair. I think that we will be using this one for years but I plan to buy them for the whole gang.

Kakadu Pet Empire Extendible Nylon Dog Lead, Small, 1/2" x 4-6ft, Forest (Green)
Big Button clicker with wrist band for Clicker training - click and train dog, cat, horse, pets
I now feed my dog his breakfast each morning a few kibbles at a time as training rewards. He has learned several new tricks quickly such as spinning in a circle on command, putting his feet up on objects that I point to, jumping over a broomstick, and crawling under the broomstick.
I love how this method involves no punishments, only rewards. Rather than being frustrated at my dog for not doing what I've asked, I've now learned to creatively think of new ways to help him understand what I'd like him to do. It really motivates my dog, and it's fun for me. I've made a list of ~50 new tricks that I want to teach my dog, and I feel that this clicker revolutionized the way I do dog training.
I also tried an older metal clicker, and I prefer the plastic Karen Pryor ones that are not harsh-sounding.For the most part I am pleased with these clickers. Karen Pryor i Click Training Clickers with wrist bands 4 Pack When I purchased them they were $7.99 but did not come with the wrist bands which is a great addition now.
They are a comfortable fit in the hand and the button makes it easy to feel and click. The only thing I am not pleased with is the volume. I take my dog to training classes and with the noise level there or outdoors, you can hardly hear the clicker. For that reason I would not purchase again, but will continue to use these in quieter settings, like at home.I hated the old clickers where you have to stick your finger in the slot to click. I'd always delay. But these are great. It can be in your hand any old way and you can click. You could even do it with your foot if you wanted. Great innovation, thanks! This is a great product! Being a dog trainer I really do look for clicker that marks the behavior the instant it occurs. I have bought clickers from petco that get stuck or are hard to push down for the same price. But I got 4 clickers for the price of one. It's awesome. The big button on the clicker makes it really easy to use. I wouldn't train dogs with anything else. I bought 2 4packs. One pack for my friend who also agrees that they are way better then the ones that we have been buying from petco. They really are a great product and I would recommend them to anyone. This was our first attempt at clicker training. We purchased the 4-pack, as they were less expensive and I wanted to have several of them handy to keep in different parts of the house. I also purchased Peggy Tillman's book "Clicking with Your Dog," which I also highly recommend for anyone who wants to try clicker training their dog. We have an 11 week old Airedale Terrier, and we've been working with him since we brought him home about 3 weeks ago. It's amazing how quickly he picked up on the clicker training. He loves playing "the clicker game." It's really cute to see him come up and sit down, lie down, shake hands, and even walk away and come back again ("come") to try to get me to click and treat. I've never used any other clicker, but these seem to work just fine. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not find the sound to be too loud at all. It never startled our puppy or our cat.
Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leash
The dogs that I have run with the Walkydog include a Border Collie, Greyhound, Red Bone Coonhound, 3 Boxers, Jack Russell terrier, Maltese mix, Shih Tzu, Dashund mix, Golden Retriever mix, and some others I cannot recall at the moment. As long as the dog is active and in good health with cooperating weather, than I cannot imagine why anyone would not use this product. You get done faster and the dog is more tired, hence you can get to work sooner or go see a movie that much quicker and maybe avoid furniture chewing from a dog with too much pent-up energy.
I do have to say that for some dogs using this may be challenging. Aggressive dogs or easily distracted dogs (two of the Boxers I take care of are easily distracted) so you may have to consider what time of day you ride to avoid too much foot traffic from other dog walkers like 6pm when everyone comes home and walks their dog at the same time. For the Boxers, I have to also use a regular long 6' leash attached to their collar and hold it in my hand whenever they get distracted and pop it a little whenever they try to go behind me or to the side of me chasing a squirrel/cat/dog.
Because I have this variety of dogs to use with the Walkydog, I have to make this more flexible for the different sizes I will encounter and so I will list the equipment I use in conjunction with the Walkydog and maybe some of these items will help you with your dog.
1) I mount a Trek bike rack to the back of my seat post and than mount the Walkydog to the bike rack rod between the quick release clamp and the actual rack. I found out that while pedaling, the back of my leg was hitting the Walkydog rod under my seatpost even if I angled the rod away. Mounting the Walkydog further back on a bike rack just a few inches works great and the bike rack attachment is almost the same diameter as the seat post so the Walkydog clamp works fine on that too. I didn't get my Trek rack on Amazon, but they have a variety of different brands you can use instead.
2) Because of the different heights of all the dogs, I needed to extend the length of the cord provided by the Walkydog. I found at Hxxx Depot (Amazon also sells this) the Smart Bungee system by Joubert and it is an extreme bargain at just $1.75 for ten pieces that allow the user to attach carabiners or increase the length of the bungee cord by just snapping them together. They provide two 24" bungees, two 12" bungees, and six different connectors. What a concept! I found the best one that worked for me most of the time was one 24" bungee and attach the carabiners to both ends. Attach one end to the Walkydog loop clip. I left the Walkydog length and internal springs pretty much alone. The bungee cord allows elasticity and will not whiplash the dog if you have to stop quickly. I also have to credit this in providing a slingshot effect when I have a fast dog it provides a little boost to my bike when the dog is going so fast that I am not even pedaling! Wee!!! Also the bungee lessens the force that can torque the Walkydog clamp loose. I use this for most of the dogs I run, but with the easily distracted Boxers I use a non-stretch cord to limit their sideways/backwards access.
3) I always use dog seat belt harnesses or chest harnesses on the dogs since I want them to pull with their chest and not their neck. The D-ring on the back of the harness is where I would attach the bungee carabiner mentioned above.
4) On top of the harness I put a safety vest on the dog. I purchased a yellow one on Amazon that works excellent since it loops from under the dog and allows the back to be open for the seatbelt harness D-ring (note to self: remember to review the yellow safety vest since it was the best one I found). The safety vest may sound like overkill, but in this age of driving cellphones and runaway Toyotas I cannot be too careful when it comes to taking care of someone elses dog.
5) I mount the Walkydog so the dog is always on my left. I've discovered that the curbside always have potential injuries waiting to happen like nails, glass, miscellaneous sharp things not good for dog paws.
6) No matter how tight I tighten the clamp, I still have some dogs that can move the bike rack and Walkydog out of alignment. A small piece of bicycle inner tube wrapped several times under the clamp may work out better than the vinyl piece provided with the Walkydog product.
With this setup, I have had a lot of success going on rides with different dogs. Dogs that pull or have lots of energy would be good candidates for this product and it has saved my arm from getting pulled and stressed out. Hope these words have highlighted the product and do not be discouraged if the product does not work out with the dog the first time. Just walk your dog with the bike so it learns not to be afraid of it and than eventually try to ride slowly next to the dog. I have done this successfully with superslow dogs and dogs that want to go back into the future so please do not be discouraged and eventually you both will have fun with it!
We received the Walky Dog two days ago, and I couldn't resist testing it out right away. I attached the leash to his collar and walked my bike out of the driveway. We tested out making some turns while we walked on our quiet street. I was still walking at this point so I could see how it all worked. My dog is significantly smaller than the German Shepherd in the product photo, and the leash was pulling on his next. I felt like I was strangling the little guy. Then my husband saw in the directions that you can remove two springs from it in order to accommodate smaller dogs. We did that, and we were off again. The leash didn't pull on him this time... but he pulled on the leash. I could tell that he was anxious to go faster so, with trepidation, I got on the bike and started pedaling. He trotted alongside me, happy as could be. When I began to pedal faster, he kept up easily and started pulling me like a sled dog. At no point did he bump me, even as we were turning corners. Somehow, the Walky Dog keeps him just the right distance away.
I will warn you that it's definitely not as easy as riding without a dog strapped to your bike. I can feel him pulling me, and I have to really hold onto the handlebars to steer against his pulling. At one point, he saw a cat, and I thought for sure he was going to pull me off the street. Neighbor kid couldn't help but laugh, even though he tried to hide it.
We went around the block. When we got home, I let him off the leash, and he did a happy little race around the yard before coming back to me, ready for another go. He really loved it. So I attached him again and we went a little farther. Yesterday day two of owning this product we went about a mile. Every time we reached a stop sign, I paused to see if my dog was still happy. His tail was wagging, his ears were cocked, and he was very alert. When I let him off the leash, he again raced around the yard, very eager and happy. Not at all traumatized. This is going to be a great product for helping him exercise and take the edge off his high-energy.

The WalkyDog is solid and looks like it's made of top quality materials to last a lifetime. Installation to the bottom of the seat post of my mountain bike was quick and easy. If the bar is too far forward the back of your leg will hit it, so be sure to try the mounted WalkyDog before using it with your dog. Attaching and detaching the pole from the clamp is faster and easier than th company literature claims. It just takes an instant. My dog, Rusty, is a lean and athletic 60 lb 2 1/2 yr. old mixed breed. He is normally skittish and high strung, and he is born to run. At my age (67), I can't really run him, hence the WalkyDog and my bicycle. Initial hook up of the dog is easy. First attach the snap to the dog's collar*, and then attach the pole to the clamp on the bike. Rusty took to the WalkyDog immediately the first time with no pulling or anxiety except on first hook up. As soon as we started moving, he and I settled into a steady 10 mph or so pace on a beautiful canyon bottom dirt road. Rusty maintained a steady trot that looked effortless. Our first use was about 6 miles. He now handles up to 10 miles with no stress, and gets excited when I get the bike out.
Rusty hasn't pulled hard to the side yet, but the pulling he has done really has little effect on the stability of my mountain bike. I don't think even a very large dog would present a safety problem with this unless he lunged hard and unexpectedly, like at another dog.
I paid about $50.00 for mine, and feel it was a bargain. The $30 that Amazon is charging is a steal. I'm seriously considering buying another one or two to give away as gifts.
* Another reviewer's suggestion to use a harness is a good idea, especially the kind with the snap ring in front under the dog's chest. I'd be concerned that the dog could pull out of a regular collar (impossible with a martingale), or hurt his neck with a choke collar if you were to fall. With a harness with the snap ring on the dog's back, I'd be concerned that a big strong dog could pull with enough force to cause a fall.

My 9 month old male lab does not like it and jerks the other way. The bracket moves, so the "stick" rotates further back. The dog ends up behind the bike or even at the other side. It is a shame because I do need to exercise him. I am honestly disappointed.Edit....
After some adjustment (removing the plastic protection wrapper and tightening the bracket with a tool with better grip) the rotating issue is solved. The dog got used to it and we enjoy the product. There is another technical problem but I have contacted the supplier with that question. I will update the review after I hear back from the seller.

Works great. I have one on both sides of my bike. Really helps to drain energy from my dogs 1st thing in the morning. If you have a strong puller make sure you really tighten down the allen screws on the clamp. Check the screws periodically because Ive found they can loosen up some over time.

If your pet is hyper and pulls a lot while walking, if you are looking to train your pet, this is your leash. It does not hurt your pet but holds the nose right at the top of their neck which helps your dog stop and listen and obey your commands!I was skeptical that anything could train my bichon but with the help of this leash my training experience is moving in the positive direction!I have used slip leads in training several dogs. I love how easy it is to give immediate, gentle correction. They are quick to put on and great for puppies just learning obedience in walking on leash. I wouldn't use any other lead for training.
Bergan Dog Auto Harness with Tether
I do recommend taking some time to get your dog used to wearing the harness so that you are not trying to discipline them or prevent them from chewing while driving. I had to pull over a few times the first day to get her to stop chewing on it and trying to get out of the harness, though she didn't do any damage to it which speaks to its durability. Straps DO need to be adjusted occasionally for proper fit. Was able to estimate the proper size harness with no trouble. Great product and would highly recommend it!

I had been looking at these harnesses for awhile now since they are the only one I have seen both recommended by the ASPCA as well as Safety Rated. The problem I was having is that my boy is an Old English sheepdog who runs about 115-120 pounds and I could not find any stores that carried the XL. When I found it on here I quickly ordered it. It came quickly and was just as described. The setup was easy and my dog does not mind the harness at all. He now wears it every time he is in the car and can comfortably sit as well as lay down but is more secured and now safe! I would definitely recommend it to others!Read Best Reviews of Bergan Dog Auto Harness with Tether Here
I have a tall, skinny standard poodle with long legs, and a skinny build that most harnesses do not fit. Medium is too small and large is too large. This is the one harness that actually adjusts to fit correctly, isn't a piece of plastic junk, and doesn't make my dog feel overheated with too much padding.I have spent at least a couple of hundred dollars in harnesses that don't fit, while this one cost a lot less and fits very nicely.I was excited to by this product because I have a very energetic and spoiled German short hair pointer that will keep trying to get on my lap in the car (I'm usually the passenger) .She is very powerful and knows that eventually I'll give up (she's also over 40lbs). I received this harness and I was happy to see that it fits pretty well and doesn't seem to bother her either. She was OK in the car until we stop somewhere were she really wanted to get out. It seem to be really easy for her to slip out of the harness, and she managed to do it two more times..I checked the harness afterwards, it didn't seem to get loosen so I'm wondering why it doesn't work..Is it the fact that she has a large chest compared with her head (still doesn't make sense since the harness goes over her legs also). Anybody who got a similar issue or could recommend a solution ??
EskyTM 2-Dog Remote Training E-Collar VIBRATION + 100 LEVEL SHOCK Collar
My advice to anyone probably does not need giving, yet for those like myself, here goes. Read the little instruction guide before jumping in. I immediatedly started popping batteries in and ofcourse did not do the transmitter first. I placed the batteries into the receiver first, which is exactly NOT what the instructions say. So I thought maybe I had gotten a faulty unit. The only faulty unit here turned out to be me. So read the instructions and set up your remote transmitter first. Then place the batteries into the receiver and it will code itself to the remote. Also, read the tips, etc concerning training with an electronic collar. It is important.
I have been using mostly only the vibrate mode on my girl who is a strong headed, hyper one year old lab mix. I have only had to "zap" (shock) her once. She is responding beautifully. This item has absolutely shown her that I now have backup and am serious about the commands I have already taught her, yet she had decided lately that she could obey when it suited her. Now she obeys when I ask her.
And it has only been one day !!!
I LOVE this training system. And I LOVE the price. I would never have been able to afford most electronic training systems on my small old aged pension.
I am very satisfied ... and very thankful. We had purchased a dog training collar from tractor supply and paid 140.00 for it. Our big guy managed to loose it. So I bought this product to replace it and in the meantime had adopted another dog. This product works great! I am using them on both dogs. I paid 1/3 for two training collars of what I paid for one. Don't waste your money. You WILL be disappointed. The range is about 50 feet. The battery life is short and batteries in remote are not easy to come by. The collars will not tolerate moisture. The collars will not adjust down to smaller dogs and they must be tight enough for the little prongs to make contact or the shock won't work. The remote shuts off after a few seconds of non use and must be restarted and reset to the correct mode. The collars seem to easily loose the ability to communicate with the collars which entails taking the collar off the dog, unscrewing the prongs, pulling the cover off, removing the battery and reinstalling the battery while pushing a button on the remote. This takes from 3 to 10 minutes and happens often...if it keeps working that long. Trust me, you can do WAY better. Stay away from these.Wednesday, November 27, 2013
Simple Solution Disposable Diapers, X-Large, 12 Pack
But like many others have said, these diapers run much too small. My dog is 44 pounds and has 27" waist. Originally I got the large size, but it was a waste of money,(somewhat frustrating -what do I do with them?) and they were much too small. Then I got the extra large -meant for dogs with up to a 35 inch waist, and they barely fit her. Since my dogs is arthritic the too small diaper is too tight around her haunches and limits her movement and may be causing her some pain.
This is a good product for what it is intended to do -keep your dog dry, but the manufacturer really needs to re-mark the sizing and add an additional larger size. Subtract one size from what is written in the description and you'll end with the right sized diaper -but somewhat tight. Unfortunately, it also means there is no diaper available for a dog with a waist over 27" or over about 50 pounds. We have an elderly female dog who was experiencing urinary incontinence problems overnight. I was going crazy cleaning up after her every morning. These diapers are a lifesaver! They work well, go on easily, and my dog keeps them on-never tries to rip them off. However, they are quite expensive. I haven't tried the reusable type yet. My dog is a black lab mix weighing only 39 pounds and needs the XL size. She is not an extra-large dog by far. So go up a size or two when ordering, and if you have a truly extra-large dog, I don't think these diapers will fit.

I bought the X-large pack. It says for a dog up to 90lbs and 35" waist. My dog is 77lbs and has a 28" waist. The diaper doesn't fit at all. I had to cut it 2 inches down the back to get it to connect on the sides.Read Best Reviews of Simple Solution Disposable Diapers, X-Large, 12 Pack Here
Although I had read other reviews that said the size was too small, I decided to try these diapers anyway. My dog is not near as big as a 90 lb. dog, and Simple Solution says they will fit up to a 90 lb. dog. Well, these diapers were way too small. I am going to try to rig them, so I can at least use these 12 in this package. However, I will not order any more. This extra large diaper might fit my cat. This is way too small, and I am sorry I went ahead and tried them. I was just desperate to find something that works for my dog.Want Simple Solution Disposable Diapers, X-Large, 12 Pack Discount?
I read the other reviews but stupidly did not heed them. We have a standard goldendoodle who is 65 pounds and quite slender. Since that falls at the lower end of the weight range, and since they show a golden retriever on the package with what appears to be a GIANT diaper on, I figured the XL would work. She just went into heat (we're allowing her to go through one heat phase before spaying her, per the vet's suggestion) and the diapers are ridiculous. I give them two stars only because they do seem absorbent, but the fit is laughable. Her tail barely fits through the hole, the fasteners only JUST make it around her hips, and the diaper basically constricts her movement and makes her miserable. The look on that golden retriever's face should have been my first clue that that diaper was photoshopped on no dog looks that happy in a diaper. I briefly considered posting a photo of just how bad the fit is, but I can't bear to embarrass her that way.
Unfortunately, given that XL is the largest size offered, I can't upsize as some of the other reviewers have done. Wish I could, since the diapers otherwise seem quite well made and absorbent. My advice would be not to bother with these if your dog is over 60 pounds maybe even over 55. If anyone has any recommendations for other brands, I'd love to hear them. Otherwise, this is going to be a LOOOONG few weeks.

X-Mat Extra Pet Training Mat, Flexible, 18-Inch
My pug, loves to snuggle up on my brand new rocking chair. Since I did not want to use a ScatMat (seems too cruel) and I could not find a similar product small enough for a chair, I purchased the X-Mat. I put the X-Mat on the chair and gently placed the pug's paws on it while saying no (I only had to do this once) and it's worked miracles. She has not jumped up once. She will pull herself up on the edge and look at the chair but will not jump on it. It's such a simple, cheap item, I love it. Very easy to remove when I want to sit. It hasn't happened to me yet, but remember to remove the X-Mat when you want to use the chair. It's pretty spikey. After owning 3 of these mats for about 5 years now, my cat mocks these. She frequently sits/stands/lays on them (on top of the sofa). She's a pretty fluffy cat, so maybe it's more "massaging" than annoying for her?! They might work for you, but I will not buy again.

X-mat is a great product! Now my cats don't jump onto my couch where the x-mat is placed. It's a three-seat couch so I'm trying to move the x-mat from one seat to another and see if it could train the cats so that they eventually don't jump onto the couch at all.Read Best Reviews of X-Mat Extra Pet Training Mat, Flexible, 18-Inch Here
The X-Mat really solved our problem--my daughter's cat had a habit of jumping on my kitchen table--not any more since we purchased the X-Mat. I would never buy anything that hurt an animal--the "curious cat" saw it, and just put a paw on it -just a touch-and that was it!!!!!!!Want X-Mat Extra Pet Training Mat, Flexible, 18-Inch Discount?
This is a very simple and effective solution. Just set it down, and the cats stay away. One of our cats had a horrible habit of scratching on the front door in the middle of the night. We use Soft Paws, so she did't do any damage to the door or the paint, but the sound was loud enough to wake us up. We were so desperate that we started putting chairs in front of the door before going to bed. Eventually, we realized we needed to drape a blanket across the back of the chairs so that she couldn't scrtatch from underneath. Then we started putting pillows in the seats so she couldn't reach above the chair backs. The point of all this, in case you're wondering, is that this cat was very persistant.
Then a veterinarian friend told us about the X-Mat. Now instead of creating an elaborate blocade in front of the doors each night, we just put two X-Mats down side by side. They span the width of the door, and our cat stays away. We've been sleeping through the night ever since.
If we have one complaint, it's that the X-Mat sticks up too high to stay in place when we open the door. But moving the mats each night is a lot easier than any other solution we've found.
