Merrick Beef Dog Training Treats

Merrick Beef Dog Training TreatsMy dog, Scooter, loves these treats. I love them because the ingredients are sound and they are made in the USA, How great is that?

Wow, this 12-pack is the best deal I've ever seen on healthy dog treats. Maybe a year's worth of treats for less than $20 including shipping! My greyhound just loves these, and though she can have a touchy digestive system they love her back. They have just one ingredient, beef lung. I also really like that they are crispy, dry, and non-stinky -great to carry in your coat pocket to have on walks, etc.

My dog will do anything for these non-fattening treats. I cut them up in small pieces and carry them with me all the time. She actually won a jumping contest in my town jumping for these treats. I highly recommend and love that they are cheaper in bulk.

Cardinal Laboratories Pet Botanics Indoor Bitter End Spray

Cardinal Laboratories Pet Botanics Indoor Bitter End Spray, 8 OuncesBeing a firm believer in first subjecting myself to anything unknown that I intend to administer to my dog, I tasted this product. GOOD LORD ALMIGHTY this is the worst taste sensation imaginable. Prior to the experience, I could not in my imagination even conceive anything being such an affront to the senses. If it's even half as effective to the taste of a dog as it is to humans (and I expect, in the case of dogs, an amplification of the effectiveness) then there is no way in the world that your dog will be able to endure this. Be careful that you do not get any of this stuff on yourself, lest your dog accidentally lick you and fear you for the rest of its natural existence. This kind of power should require a license.

This works!!! I sprayed the corners of my couch pillows, the corners of the furniture and anything that the dogs were trying to

chew on.

I have used this with 3 different very oral young pups.

They tried to gnaw on the hard plastic base and arms of my office chair, table legs and some drywalled corners of my cubicle.

It is most potent while damp, tho if you touched an area that was nearly dry, you might get a nasty taste in your own mouth!

Some pups are very persistent, so a consistent use over a few days, and then an infrequent use over the next week or so did the trick. They nosed at the old spots, but never gnawed again.

I have recommended it to a few other people and they have said it worked for them.

At least it can help strengthen the "LEAVE IT" training for tempting items.

My coworker gave this to me, to try on my puppy. He keeps chewing on the bed frame, my shoes, etc. My coworker forewarned me that it didn't have any effect on her dogs. But, I thought I would give it a try on my puppy. I sprayed it on the bed frame and the underneath area that he chews on. When it was wet, he made a face like he tasted something nasty so I thought it had worked. But, after a bit he was back at it chewing away not even considered of the taste. Then, my boyfriend was playing with the puppy and managed to get that taste in his mouth from the puppys fur. Well...it worked for him...but not the puppy...

When I first got one of my cats as a kitten, he had a bad habit of nibbling on blind and power cords. A couple of sprays of this stuff on the cords was all that it took to break him of his dangerous hobby. In fact, I still have an almost full bottle since I haven't needed it since. I'll be donating it to the cat shelter.

Slip Leash in Red

Mendota Slip Dog Lead 6ft x 1/2in RedI work with rescue dogs and use this leash for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers, on a daily basis. The leash is a collar and leash in one and slips easily over the dog's neck and a small, adjustable leather tab can be slipped down so it stays secure and the dog can't slip out of it. The 6' length is nice, even when walking large, active dogs. It's very strong and can be used with even strong dogs who like to pull. The handle is comfortable and a leather holder provides additional grip. I've found this leash to be very durable and withstand all sorts of conditions. It can be easily cleaned with warm water and a mild soap solution. I'm very happy with the versatility and durability of this lead and definitely recommend it to others.

This lead works great on my Golden Retriever, who likes to pull when she sees anything moving (including a leaf blowing down the street). The key is to keep it high on the neck just under the dogs ears. It doesn't have the same effect when it's too loose. The lead is very light weight, so it's not like having a heavy pinch collar.

Very sturdy. Dogs can't chew threw it. Great size for keeping control of any sized dog. The little notch thing that keeps the loop the size you want doesn't loosen up too much like on most slip leads. Easy to handle so it can be pulled out and adjusted quickly in an emergency. Nice color too ;)

We transport rescued dogs, and meet people for exchanges in parking lots near busy highways. This lets us safely take dogs from car to car, just have to make sure you adjust the leather stop each time. Hearing about other stories of escape, we needed a tool to avoid that, and this is it. Tripe Dog Treat Roll - K9 Magic

Tripe Dog Treat Roll - K9 MagicMy husky puppy loves this stuff. It's easy to cut into tiny cubes for training and is higher value than his regular food and many other treats. It also lasts a long time as long as you don't cut up too much at once and keep it in the fridge. I did have a baggie of cut pieces get moldy, but the solid hunk still in the fridge is fine. Definitely recommended for training!

Dean and Tyler Soft Touch Dog Leash, Brown 6-Feet by 3/4-Inch Width With Brown Handle And Solid Bras

Dean and Tyler Soft Touch Dog Leash, Brown 6-Feet by 3/4-Inch Width With Brown Handle And Solid Brass Hardware.I have been buying leather leashes for 13 years and this one stands out. The padded handle is very comfortable and the best feature. I also am impressed with the sturdy brass clip. The brass clip is an important feature to me because my last one (different brand) broke and my dog ended up nipping a horse. My dog is 88 pounds and very strong so I need a heavy duty clip. The leather looks and feels like it is good quality. It does not run and it doesn't have a yucky leather smell.

I recommend this leash!

This leash is everything as advertised, well priced, well built and looks great on my dog. I have two other leather leashes that seem softer and more bendable. Maybe with time this will be better. Right now it is stiff.

Baskerville 6-Inch Rubber Ultra Muzzle, Size-2, Black

Baskerville 6-Inch Rubber Ultra Muzzle, Size-2, BlackI recently ordered the size 3 muzzle for my dog who is 33 lbs. The thing was HUGE on her. I then ordered the size 2 for her, and it fit great and works great. She doesn't seem to mind it too much. The product works great, but the sizing is SO off.

I own Asheville Dog Rehabilitation and work with aggressive dogs and their owners on a regular basis and these are my muzzles of choice. I haven't found a muzzle that's better for the work I do. Highly recommended. They sell them at Petco as well, which is handy if you need one immediately or are unsure of the size you need, but they are usually half the price here on Amazon.

My 16 pound mixed breed is a good guy, but barks at everyone and everything, training has worked for all activities except barking so I wanted something friendly. This muzzle is soft but firm, he can drink and take light small treats through the openings and best of all he can not get it off.

Great product!! I used this during the day while at work on my < 2yr old whippet to prevent her from eating shoes, wooden furniture legs, you name it. She had no issues putting this on each morning before I left. It's great because she can still drink and it has a soft velvet like liner so doesn't cause any skin issues. I recently forgot to muzzle her before leaving while in a rush and came home to nothing chewed. I decided to trial her without it for the next few days and she is no longer chewing! Awesome!!

Want Baskerville 6-Inch Rubber Ultra Muzzle, Size-2, Black Discount?

Great muzzle! You must make sure that your measurements are accurate or the muzzle will be blocking their vision. Although the muzzle is durable and useful, my dog hates anything on his face. He has rubbed all the hair off around his eyes and they were very swollen. I don't use it anymore, but I do have it just in case the need arises. They are much better than the cloth muzzles because it allows your dog to drink and pant if they want to. Dogs need to pant to regulate their body temperature. This muzzle allows that, where others do not.

Treatstik Small Blue Meal And Treat Dispensing Dog Toy

Treatstik Small Blue Meal And Treat Dispensing Dog ToyI own the large Treatstik (9.75" long), and the small (6" long but with the same size treat dispensing hole). The large holds up to 1.5 cups of treats or kibble; the small ½ cup.

Both are well made of thick, hard, sturdy nylon that is smooth, with no sharp parts. Even the hole treats are dispensed from has smoothed edges. I have not used either size long enough to speak to how long it would last. I can't say what a stronger/larger jawed chewer than mine would do with it, but this toy is so sturdy and well made that I fully expect that it would last for years with my dogs. I bought the large to feed my 50lb. border collie one of her 2 meals a day of dry kibble. It both entertained her and slowed down her too-rapid eating. She did not seem too interested in chewing on it, mainly just knocking the food out (which occupied her for quite a while, but was not so hard to do that she became frustrated & felt the need to chew it open). She worked on it quite vigorously, pawing hard at it and knocking it into furniture. So I toss throw pillows or towels in front of certain furniture legs, etc, when I use it inside.

I've bought several treat/food dispenser toys, but this is the only one I've continued to use. Unlike the others, both sizes of Treatstik are very easy to fill through its large opening; even my sore hands can screw the cap on/off easily; cap stays on while my dog plays with it; and it's very easy to wash by hand, or it's dishwasher-safe.

Note that the Treatstik website says it is not for "toy" dogs: the hole that dispenses the treats is by my measure approximately 3/4" long by 1/2" wide oval. The small size has the same size hole. So in my opinion a dog might be a bit safer if she has lower canines farther apart than ¾".

The large size also works fine with my 14lb mini poodle, and she loves it (I supervise her with it, and her lower canines are wider than the hole). She rolls it all around, pawing at it & nosing it until she gets as much kibble out as she can, then looks to me to shake the rest down to the narrow end so she can work on it some more. I have to shake it down several times for her to get it all. So I bought the smaller size for her, thinking that she would be able to pick it up & tilt it to shake the last remaining bits of kibble down to the dispensing hole, which she cannot do with the large size (too big even at the narrower end for her small mouth to pick up). But she still can't pick up the fatter end of the small one, which is where she would need to grasp it to tilt it to get the food to fall down to where the hole is (she frustrates easily & won't experiment with more creative ways to tilt it). So she has the same problem with both sizes, causing her to get frustrated & give up on getting the last 10 or so pieces of (very small bites size) kibble out. So whichever size Treatstik we're using, I continue to help her out when she gets down to the last pieces. Occasionally I just open the end & dump out the few remaining pieces to save time.

Also, the smaller toy is so much narrower in diameter in the part where the dispensing hole is, that if I put her entire 1/3 cup meal of kibble in it, my dog feels she might be able to reach the kibble by just lying down & chewing at the hole to get to the food something she never even tried with the large version, and not what I want her to do with this toy. So I have to feed her the 1/3 cup in 2 installments, a minor nuisance (but not an issue if you're only using it to feed a few treats at a time).

My dog gives up easily & never goes back to toys that frustrate her, but some small dogs might work at the small Treatstik until they figured out a way to tilt the food out which might even be a good thing to keep them busy longer?

So both sizes work pretty much the same for my small dog, except that I can put her whole meal at one time in the large one, and the small one just requires a refill part way through. She likes both, and we use both, but I wish I'd known all this before I invested in the 2nd one that I ended up not needing. I prefer the large one, even for my small dog.

This is a really heavy-duty product that stands up to our dog's powerful chewing. She loves the toy and thinks getting her dinner in it is great. We got it since she would house her food so fast we thought she might choke or get bloat and it has definitely slowed down her eating.

Receiver for EXP with Collar Strap

Tri-Tronics Expandable Receiver with Blue Collar StrapI would completely ignore the other review of this collar. It is a completely ignorant comment from someone who hasn't done their homework on how to train with an E collar or use the very simple instructions on how to program an extra collar to a multi dog transmitter.

To give you some background information I have 3 dogs, and I use this product on two of them. One is a 85lb red nosed doberman and the other is a 80lb german shepherd. We've had the doberman for 2 1/2 years now and we're her 3rd home. We rescued her and didn't notice the neurotic behavior problems at first but they became very problematic after a month or so. Our German Shepherd is a great dog, very obedient until you put a small animal in front of him, he's 2 and since hitting 1 year old his prey drive has really kicked in... We own 4 cats, he used to sleep with them and play with no problems, until we moved to a new house and a pack change occurred and he seemed to take "ownership" of the cats in the new environment... This resulted in chasing and cornering the cats which caused some unhealthy stress reactions in the cats...

Now on to the actual review: This is one tough collar, I wouldn't recommend it for small dogs as it does have some weight to it. I would highly recommend the LEERBURG training video or a consultation from a trainer versed in E collar use. My wife and I used a trainer prior to using the E collar and that greatly improved the obedience of our dogs but between the neurosis and the prey drive of our two dogs this collar bridged the gap! The collar took a few attempts to connect to the transmitter following the instructions, but it's an easy task. The collar is much better than $100 economy 1 dog collar transmitter that we started with... It recharges in 2 hours, contains batteries that have no "Memory" so the standard of fully charging and fully depleting the battery is not necessary. It will fully charge in 2 hours and i've had it on my dogs for upwards of 3 days with intermittent use before having to recharge. This collar packs a punch, it goes up to a setting of 6 and i've never had to go higher than 4 with my GSD in a full prey response going after one of our cats. I've tested it on my arm and when I nicked myself at a setting of 5 my forearm fully cramped up and had a pretty good shock.

The only reason I didn't give this unit a 5 star rating was the fact that the tone that it gives off is fairly quiet when compared to the "economy" model we used previously. But with proper training and getting the dog to respond to our voice commands this should not be a problem and should make us train in a more correct manner anyways...

I use this everyday on my American Pittbull Terrier (35lbs). Starting to get her to walk off leash which is the main reason I purchased it. I also use another one together with my small Caviler King Charles Spaniel (16lbs). Battery life is amazing. Signal distance is plenty good. Only one complaint is that for smaller dogs or dogs with smaller necks the strap is extremely long and it is difficult but possible to cut. All and all I would buy it again.

This collar works great. I bought a Tri-tronics electronic transmitter. You can control 3 dogs with this one unit. This particular collar is red so you always know which dog to correct just by changing the dial to the specific colored collar.

I am happy with this product. I docked the product one star because for this price, it should come with its own charger. I purchased this receiver as an add-on to my original purchase of the Tri-Tronics Sport Basic set. I can't charge both receivers at the same time because I only have the one charger--which is frustrating when you have two dogs.

Training Collar Remote Dog

Training Collar Remote DogIt worked well for my Boston Terrier who is sensitive to correction and anxious, didn't want to use shock for corrections, he responds very well to the vibrate collar. All I do is put it on and he instantly behaves or if he doesn't the vibration instantly stops whatever he is doing (mostly misbehaves when other dogs are visiting) He also doesn't know the difference between this collar and the wireless fence collar he has only been shocked 2 or 3 times total when we first got the wireless fence. so I can put this on and he stays away from the back fence which is muddy when wet, which is a bonus, don't have to switch collars.

This is a really cheap piece of crap. The batteries ran dead in 3 days and did not have enough power to even make my dog stop doing anything. The whistle only made a sound on the remote not from the collar so the dog never heard it. The vibrate was not strong enough to even make the dog notice i was trying to correct his actions.

The standard-length prongs were not long enough for my 40 pound shiba inu which has a really thick fur. Premier Click Stick Dog Trainer - Purple

Premier Click Stick Dog Trainer - PurpleIt's definitely challenging to juggle both a touch stick and a clicker in one hand (and often a treat in another) so the idea of a combined stick and clicker struck me as genius. The "Clik Stik" was attractively packaged in plastic with a little training guide. It's hard to miss with the bright green and purple colors, fits easily in my hand and has a clip on the back to hook it on your pants when not being used. The pointer itself is a good length and telescopes so it's usable for a variety of purposes. The only thing that I would have liked to see included would be a base you could sit it in to use for distance training work.

However, there's a major flaw with the product and that's the clicker. It's *way* too soft. Right out of the box I noticed how quiet the click was, but a couple training sessions and it's pretty much gone completely. You need complete and total silence to hear it at all. Considering the whole point of this device is that the clicker is built-in, it's a pretty major problem when the clicker doesn't work! Hopefully someone will come up with a similar product, that provides a reasonable click along with it.

ADDED: I got a replacement for the first one and the clicker seems to work a tad better, but still VERY quiet. It has the same fragile feeling as well that makes me wary that it will also get worse with use as the first did. It still is a nice pointer stick, but such a shame the clicker portion of it is so sub-standard. I have bought other target sticks for considerably less than this one so hard to recommend it when this is so problematic.

Small, compact, 2-in-1 train tool that eliminates the need for a separate clicker. Easy to use, easy to condition your dog with, easy to carry.

No need for a separate clicker, in fact if you are looking for a clicker for training, just buy the clik-stik. The clicker is on the clik-stik is quieter than most others (but still entirely effective) and therefore more subtle when in use.

The pamphlet explains the basics (which is done with precision and clarity) and you are left to the use of your own imagination as to what tricks or chores to teach your dog. So far, I have taught my dog, Steel, to "find the target" around the room, identify 2 toys, and shut the door behind him with this tool and the techniques described in the pamphlet.

A lot of fun and a great way to build a positive relationship with your pet! Steel's become even more attentive and behavioral "issues" have decreased because his improved focus.

Buy Premier Click Stick Dog Trainer - Purple Now

Some reviewers have complained that the sound of the clicker itself is too soft, while others say it's just fine, or loud enough for dog ears. If you go to a store where you can try different Clik Sticks, you'll find that indeed some do click louder than others. I would suggest taking that route, rather than ordering online and getting whatever you happen to get. As for fragility, I don't think it seems fragile at all. The clicker seems as "sturdy" as any other clicker out there, and the wand telescopes nicely. While I haven't searched high and low, I haven't found another target stick with built-in clicker so far; thus, I would recommend this highly. I've been using it for over a week now and it works just as well as I would've hoped. My only small complaint is that the target ball could be a bit larger, but that's a small quibble. My puppy responds very well to it... but of course she is BRILLIANT ;-)

Many trainers recommend a clicker and a target which aids in training the dog to associate a particular spot or postion with the reward. With a retractable target the Premier Click Stick fills the bill nicely. Having the capability to not extend (use as an ordinary clicker), partially extend, or fully extend, allows a great deal of flexibility without being clumsy. The clicking sound is crisp and adequate for in the house or an average size yard remembering that dogs have far superior hearing.

The Click Stick is light and fits my medium size hand well. Because of the well thought-out shape, it is easy to find the clicker button by touch alone. There is a clip allowing the Click Stick to be hooked to a belt or pocket, but since the clip is not tight fitting I wouldn't trust it to hold the clicker securly in a light-weight shirt pocket. Also included in the package is a helpful instruction booklet which provides you with the basics of clicker target training including how to get your dog to respond to the clicks as well as the target. You will need training sized treats, not included, for incentives and rewards for Bowser, Fido, Missy, Hey you, Stupid, or whatever it is you may have named your dog(s). once you and Fido have learned the basics, clicker training can be a whole lot of fun.

As an additional note, if you have multiple dogs as I do, it is often helpful to, at least initially, work with one at a time so as not to confuse them.

Nylabone Romp 'N Chomp Souper Treat Holder Chew with Treat for Dogs Over 50-PoundI bought two Romp 'n Chomp Souper Treat Holder (along with refills) for my Labs. Both nylabones were apparently damaged by chewing and won't hold treats anymore.

I have 3 Labs. All are power chewers. I also had the 1st bone damaged by the dogs nicking the area where the treat insert goes, and then continued chewing... But I have found that if I cut the sticks int 1/2" pieces, I can still push them in with the cut side down and make them stick. The dogs don't need the whole stick at once to keep them entertained. I can make one stck last several hours this way, because they still keep chewing even if the little piece is gone, because there are still remnents of it stuck in the bone. This is a GREAT toy if you need to keep your dog occupied.

I purchased this toy for a dog who smart and a strong chewer. He especially loves toys that he can has to figure out and can chew. Unfortunately, the dog chew is incredibly easy for him to get out making it no challenge at all. The chew itself is too big for him (a medium-sized dog) and too hard. It's frustrating because the toy wasn't cheap. It seems most chews are either far too hard or soft. It's very difficult to find anything just right.

The toy seemed like a good idea, but it's simply not executed well enough to be useful.

I have tried a ton of chew toys/treat holders and my dog either demolishes them immediately or shows no interest. It takes him about 30 minutes to get the treat out of this holder which is much longer than with most other products. The treat holder has held up, he has not managed to destroy it yetit does have some nicks in it, but it still can hold the treats so I give it and A+. My dog absolutely loves the treats and he likes the empty holder as a toy well.

It has one clip for easy on and off. My dog actually looks forward to putting it on.

I consider this to be a 5 star product as it should be considering the price.

I bought this vest for my GSD protection dog to help build back his endurance and power. He had be doing regular weekly protection training that had gotten him in excellent shape. However, last year I moved and training is a thing of the past. This past week we went back to my trainer friend (a 9 hour trip) and it was obvious that he was not in the same shape he once was, so I knew something had to be done as my dogs are a great source of personal pride.

There isn't a whole lot of information on workouts that you can do with this, so I'm trying to use some basic knowledge that I've accumulated through personal training and formal education.

How I'm using it:

Vest on for short ~30 min walks to help burn fat and build muscle endurance. (Hilly terrain)

Vest on for open gait running

PoochieBells Dog Potty Training Doorbell, Chocolate Brown

PoochieBells Dog Potty Training Doorbell, Chocolate BrownOK, if I could give this product 6 stars I would.

We were having a big problem with our Boxer puppy not catching on to the in/out concept of housebreaking. It was driving us crazy. He was well past where it should have sunk in. We were trying to be vigilant, but accidents were still happening, and undoubtedly so when we were away and came back.

We tried Nature's Miracle, we tried being vigilant, monitoring when he would drink water, taking him out for frequent trips outside, etc. but didn't have any success.

Then we thought we'd try this. It seemed like a gimmick, but we were will to through $20 bucks at the problem to try and solve it. My expectations were low.

Very thankfully, I was completely wrong. Our dog took to it right away. For the first week, every time we opened the door to the backyard we rang the bells, encouraged him to hit it with his nose, and said "Ring the bells" before opening the door. In a very short time our little guy caught on, and would hit the bells lightly with his nose to make them sound, at which point we'd jump up and open the door -and he'd go out and successfully do is business. It was awesome.

Now, we always know when he wants to go out. The bells aren't too loud or soft either. We can hear them anywhere we are on our first floor, but not too loud that they are annoying when rung. Either way, they work so we're happy.

Plus, they travel easily. We took them with us to our various families' homes over Christmas and our dog used them there as well, much to our families' surprise.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT -I strongly recommend it.

These bells should called control your owner bells. My dog learned to us the bells for potty, so I got another set for upstairs. She uses these bells any time she wants you to do anything. Once you are up, she directs you to what she wants. These bells have improved our communication greatly.

We bought these poochie bells for our 50-lb, 1 year old mixed breed dog. She is house broken but was having a few accidents in the house because we weren't picking up on her signals that she had to go. She would just sit by our our feet or bother us but we thought she just wanted attention so we got these bells to help let her notify us in a more audible way. I followed the directions on the package, i taught her touch and treated her when she touched her nose to the bells. Then, each time we take her outside, we say "outside, touch the bells" and if she doesn't touch it with her nose, we do it for her and take her out. She picked it up after a few days. Now, when she touches the bells, we know she has to go. I've heard of other dogs abusing the bells to just go outside to play but our dog hasn't done that. We don't hang them on the door knob because it would be ringing whenever we came in and left the house, we placed it on a hook near the door at the dog's level, so it only sounds when she needs it. We kept it out of her reach the first few days when we started to keep her from abusing it but now it stays hung on the hook all the time. We still take her out in the morning and before bed without her prompting it but its great for all the times in between. It's been a great training tool and it looks much better than the pictures shown here.

These bells work great. My 5 month old English Bully, rings them whenever he needs to go outside.

He hasn't had an accident for months. Now if only I had something that would improve the hearing of my kids, 15, 13, and 11. It seems I'm the only one that hears the bells ringing.... so my voice has to be added to get the kids to take the dog out :)

Ah... yes now I remember; they are in the "selective hearing" stage of life.

To keep our dog from scratching the door and glass, we decided to give these a try. Upon arrival, we hung them on the door and followed the instructions. Within a few days our dog was "ringing the bell" to go out! Simply amazing. The only drawback is that the bells swing widly when the door is opened and you have to be careful that you don't slam the door on them. It is not a product defect -blame physics!

Groovypets Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar with Rechargeable Receivers for Humane and Effec

Groovypets Remote Control Dog Training Shock Collar with Rechargeable Receivers for Humane and Effective Training and Bark Control/anti-bark of Two Small, medium, and Large Dogs:featuring Vibrate and Shock for Each DogWe received our collar and within minutes my one year old 20lb Cockapoo is like a brand new dog! We have a fenced in yard and before I struggled to get him in the house. Now with the vibration and command come he immediately follows me into the house. We have been able to correct several other behaviors right away with only the vibration. I doubt I will even have to use the shock ever. One of our collars was not working. The vibration worked but neither shock option. We attached the testing bulb and it lit every so slightly. Charged the unit completely and still no results. I e-mailed Groovypets and within an hour I had a response. They already shipped me out a new receiver and requested I send back the one that is not working once the new unit comes. Absolutely AMAZING!!! I never had such great service! If you are struggling with obedience, you won't go wrong with this collar. It truly is awesome! I previously had an anti-bark collar from Walmart that didn't work well. It was periodically giving a shock when our dog barked. What is so nice about the remote option is that YOU control when your dog needs to have a warning or a shock. GREAT Product and AMAZING customer service.

I can't brag on this product enough. I have 4 dogs (Boxer 3ys, Bichon 9yrs, Shizon 3ys, and a Golden Retriever 10yrs) I use the metal prongs on the bigger dogs and the little ones they use the rubber prongs. Prior to buying this remote collar, walking with them all at one time was a nightmare. I always ended up tangled up in all the leashes. They were miserable and so was I. My friend saw this product online and suggested I buy it. I bought one just to see how it worked because I was hesitant about shocking my dog. I always thought it was a cruel way to treat a dog. But at this point I knew they all loved to go out and walk together because they all love each other so much and those eyes were so sad when I left 2 behind while waiting on their turn to walk I was willing to give it a try. Well, let me just say it only took a few times to train them with the least (vibrate) up to the low shock. I only had to use the high shock one time when the Boxer was running out towards the road. She immediately turned around and came back to my side. Within a few weeks they only need the collar on and my verbal command. The collar refocuses them and keeps them out of the way of traffic, out of others yards and keeps them from roaming or tying me up when walking or now I can actually run with them. They are happier, I am happier and we are getting in shape all at the same time. I have now bought 2 sets of collars, one for each dog and take them off when they are inside. I love the fact that this has the least to most options plus there is no digging around the whole property to plant a invisible fence. We tried that too. It was very expensive and a lot of hard work to only have a break in the line the 3rd time of use. The remote collar trainer is a excellent tool to train your dog to stay with you and to listen to the commands. Being rechargeable is also a big plus and saves me money. What a great deal you get with this collar and you will keep your little loved ones safe. Only suggestion is use command first, work from least to most and be consistent. I highly recommend.

I was doubtful of how effective this dual control system would be. However, after I put it to use, that doubt faded away.

My dogs respond more quickly to my whistle commands after having been trained to expect a warning and then a mild shock with the collars should they choose to ignore the warning. If they go beyond the limits of our yard, a touch of the vibrator button warns them that the mild shock will come next. Thus, they quickly return.

I only had to use the heavy shock once when the female went charging out toward the street. One press stopped her in mid-step. At the same time, a car whizzed by. I'm certain she would have been killed had the collar not stopped her.

Recently, I've been attaching the collars only as insurance against some temptation causing the dogs to wander off and for the purpose of being able to locate them in the darkness via the red LED that indicates the motion detector is activated. When the collar module sits still for several seconds, the circuitry goes to sleep in order to retain the battery charge and the red LED goes out.

During this time, the remote control commands have no effect on the functionality of the collar module. The motion detector is sensitive enough to wake the circuit with the slightest movement or vibration. This allows the remote control signals to once again have an affect.

I did have some trouble with one module. The sensitivity of the motion detector decreased to the point where the dog's normal running movements stopped activating it. However, just an email to the vendor along with my order number had me receiving a replacement in two days. In a few minutes, everything was like new.

That said, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The equipment performs as indicated and the service I received from the vendor was excellent. I have no problem in recommending this product to anyone else.

This is a straight forward, basic product to use. We have two dogs and have only had to go beyond the vibrate mode once. We use it to stop them from jumping on guests and from chasing our cat. Kudos to the company Legend Zone who handles the product for Groovy Pets. We had it about a year and lost our chargerthey are replacing it for free.
